Am I seeing things or people prefer funny posts way more than actual ingame content posts?
Yeah, I know, lurkers can't comment about my play, but still... :neenernee
So, I got home in time and I did my own stance of power gaming:
I've changed Envy's build to a library again, even after I already finished the turn. This city has a good food surplus, but it's not a concentrated surplus. And I think working those great tiles would be worthy. So, i'll grow the city while building the library, then I'll chop it and then I'll run the specialists.

I like city C in post #318. Share the rice with A to the west, build a city on or near the stone for the eastern bananas.

You might not be able to comment on the game, but you can certainly help with the funny stuff.

I ended up settling in the C spot. I had already moved when you made your comment, Ilios, because the turn was nearly over and we were the last ones left to play. City number 2 can go W of the banana, sure, since it'd get 2 ivories. The question us if Sunrise won't bea nnoyed by that. Guess it's good to leave a comment to him.

First, we got rid of the barb axe. He suicided against Greed's walls, killed by the Skirmisher. He pillaged the corn first, unfortunately.
The axe you see in the picture killed both the barb warriors and is now a shock axe! I can attack any future barb axes at good odds now.
Here's the new city of Lust:
Rice + Sugar + lots of grassland. A good city. But we need a lot of workers to make it pay off. I'm workin on it right now. But I'm really lost about what to do.
A look inside:
There's a farm being... well, farmed in the north right now. You can see that we have iron connected, which is nice. No horses is really hurtful, though, especailly for a charismatic civ.
Demographics:
They look good because I don't whip a lot. When the whippers start growing, I don't think those will look nearly that good. But that can't be helped, since we don 't have a lot of food...
We are also without a good long term plan. My general idea is: finish calendar, grab currency, go to Civil Service. But, here's a question: Is currency worth it? Our routes won't be international... Currently, currency would give us 6 commerce.
Civil Service logic is due to our capital, that is really nice. I'm going to work 2 scientists in Envy soon to get an Academy. And I'm working on getting some more cottages worked. The grassmine being worked could be a cottage, for example.
I think we should go through CoL to Civil Service, since we don't need monarchy and feudalism for now. But there's the thing about revolt. It would be nice to be able to revolt to Bureau and HR at the same time. And I guess CoL is not the best tech for us too...
Bah, BTS tech tree is so boring... there's no cool things to look forward too...

Not many shiney toys to play with in BTS compared with FFH.

Two interesting things happened this turn. First, Sunrise settled his sugar city, getting the sugar, the ivories and a banana.
He got passed the river line with his settling, which is something I do not appreciate. I think we should demand reparations in the diplo thread, in the form of settling that eastern rice. What do you guys think? Sunrise probably don' want to antagonize us, since he's winning the game. I think he'll be more willing to give us the deal we want.
What he probably doesn't know is that that rice opens the way to a good deal of usettled green land in that direction.
The other big news is this:
Hello, Mr. Moogle!
Here's the tactical situation. The axe is a woody 2 with a movement point left. He has 3.4 health and needs 3 turns to fully heal. We could stand still this turn and in the next walk to the side of his city. Then probably attack the next (I think the city hasn't popped borders yet).
Of course, I don't plan to double move the poor guy. But getting someone unprepared (i.e. he can't move any defense to the city in only one turn) is different from double moving.
Should we heal the axe first, though? Do you think he has an archer there?
