Ok, basic scouting:
From Wimbledon:
O'Neill - ~650k plus 10%
Chicharito - ~900k plus 10% (not interested atm unfortunately)
Other Clubs:
Jose - Transfer listed striker at Leeds - £4.1million - Well worth it as he looks like a top goalscorer & scored 26 goals in Championship 2 seasons ago - only 24 years old too!
Farid Benaldjia - Algeria captain & Centre back - FREE - Solid back up and already likes us. Wages not too high so worth a punt.
Andy Evans - Transfer listed AM from Blackpool - 3.3million - Good player for the tip of the diamond, strong mental stats and decent other stats. Most likely worth a go.
Souleymane Dieme - Lokeren midfielder - £4 million - Young but technically gifted centre midfielder. Top potential player but we may be wanting to spend on more experienced quality for promotion.
Magnus Johannesson - Hearts Striker - £1 million - 21 years old but superb mental stats. Could be a great candidate to retrain to AM and play as a trequiartista or head of the diamond.
Tommy Greene - Man City Midfielder - Loan (230k) - More than useful back up player to have on loan for that price.
Kevin Webb - 35yo free AM - FREE - Still top quality player for his age. Worth it.
Aviv Barak - 31yo Israeli CB - FREE - IMO an absolute must buy. Low wages but superb defensive and mental stats.
Bjorn Andresen - 29yo Norwegian GK - FREE - Another superb guy available on a free. Arsenal are interested but I reckon we could still nab him.

Some more:
Zvonko Vukic - 25yo Croatian DC - FREE - Pacy centre back with some pretty solid stats. Some better options but a pacy defender is pretty useful.
Rene Hibbert - 18yo Haitian Defender - £4 million - Very promising defender who is already nearly as good as our current best defender with room for improvement. Again, may want to prioritise getting experienced quality for promotion before youth.
Eric Anyanwu - 19yo Nigerian DM - £2.7 million - Even more promising but good enough to make an impact straight away. For the cost he is worth buying.
So from what I've found, the 'must buys' are:
Jose
Barak
Andresen
Johannesson
Greene
Webb or Evans (prob not both)
We do have a pretty top quality side as it is, but these additions would be really beneficial.
In terms of a formation, I'd advise my narrow 4-4-2 Diamond with Jose & Bardsen up front.
This side should be more than capable of promotion so no pressure Ichabod! I will do a squad analysis to help you if you like.

I'll do my best to get it done either tomorrow night or sunday night but am running into a busy week.
It will be very different to our AFC Wimbledon one of get rid of loads as they are all crap. TBH I reckon 75-85% of the squad is high championship/low premiership quality already - just need to top it up!

Ok then, here's my basic analysis of the squad we have inherited at QPR plus some suggested targets for the positions which need improving.
This is all written down from last night so some first names for targets may not be there.
Goalkeeper
No really outstanding candidates but plenty of solid players.
Allsop - Solid and young (worth keeping)
Phillips - Solid but ageing (up to you)
O'Connor - Rated as the best but not outstanding (worth keeping)
Lebourg - definitely sell
Targets:
Andresen (Free) or Richard Dunne (2.7m) for first choice.
Possibly Rasmussen (Free) or Eputa for future (not necessary straight away but nice bonus)
Right Back
Nothing too amazing here either. Most of those who can play there only have it as their 2nd or 3rd strongest position. McCarthy is good for playing pretty regularly, but we will need at least one other player
McCarthy - Pretty damn solid. Well worth keeping and will push anyone for a spot out there.
Yilmaz, White & Christian - all OK back ups but not good enough to be 2nd choice.
Targets:
Elliot Varlet (£650k) or Antonio Gimeno (675k)
Left Back
We would be completely sorted in this position if Grilli wasn't going to get sold over our heads by the chairman for £9 million.
Grilli - Awesome but on his way out (at least for good money!)
Esposito - Strong 2nd choice, decent 1st choice.
Frost - Decent 3rd choice but is too valuable in the middle so 2 players may need to be bought.
Targets:
Struggled to find many really good, but Beveridge (1.3 million) is pretty good.
Centre Back
We are blessed with a lot of strong talent here that only needs a little bit more support to be at it best.
Frost - absolutely top notch
Molina - another great defender with bags of experience.
Albano - Solid back up
Kopacka - Solid back up
McCarthy & Yilmaz can also cover.
Targets:
Aviv Barak (Free) - absolute must buy.
Vukic - not 100% necessary but I always like to have a pacy CB.
Defensive Midfielder
Joao Silva - Good quality player
White & Yilmaz - Useful but not outstanding
Targets:
O'Neill (~650k) and Anyanwu for the necessary cover and improved future prospects.
Centre Midfield
Depends how much this position is required but we have some quality.
Guerrero - top notch player.
Mellor - Solid back up
Frost & Christian - OK
Targets:
Depends on how much you want to use it, I don't think it will be needed so no real super targets.
Right and Left Wing
Again, depends on whether you go with a narrow or wide diamond. I'd almost recommend going wider as we have more quality wide.
Alcock - Superb right winger
Maier - Good left winger
Ross - pretty solid
No more superb back up.
Targets:
Greene (Loan)
Lowry (1.8 million)
Attacking Midfielder
Another pretty strong area which can be improved pretty easily to a top level with great back up.
Van Den Bosch - Superb
Guerrero - very Good
Mellor - OK
Targets:
Johannesson (1 million) - must buy IMO
Webb (Free) if you have to save money, Andy Evans if not.
Strikers
We have 2 great players but IMO they play in the same role and there are no great pacy strikers so we need to get 2 in my opinion and shouldn't be afraid of spending big.
Bardsen - Best striker at club. Good for Target Man to support pacy striker
Crean - Experienced and Proven. Will give Bardsen a run for the target man role.
Fagan, Knezevic & Patrick - All back up but pretty weak IMO. May be worth selling one or two of them.
Targets:
Jose (4.1 million) - Do your utmost to sign him straight away. First thing when taking control must be bidding for him IMO.
then one of
Stegeman (Sunderland - 6.25 million) or Konrad (Everton - 7.5 million). Both are already good enough but have potential to go further. Konrad could be a leading prem striker.

Well, I managed to sign Jose, but only with a very high wage, 47k per week. That's not really a problem (he wanted over 60k in the beggining), but since both Guerrero and Alcock have Match highest earning clauses, they gain the raise too. So, do we sign Jose even if that will make a huge difference in the finances?

For someone that good and already a proven goalscorer at this level, I think we must sign him. We will otherwise likely have to get 2 young, talented but unproven pacy strikers which will cost a lot more in transfer fees.
The fact that we can get Jose for £4.1 million is an absolute steal.
How big a raise in salary are we looking at for Guerrero and Alcock? If its massive, then try to negotiate Jose down as far as possible with big signing on fees & agent fees. If its only a matter of 9/10k per player, I'd still go for it tbh.
Remember we can spend less of our transfer budget and move some of it to cover wages if need be by signing people like Andresen, Webb & Barak

I'll check the wages from Alcock and Guerrero, but I'm guessing it was a big inrease, like 20k/week.
That's a very difficult situation, because there's no way to get around that damn high earner clauses. That's something to keep in mind -> avoid that type of clauses at all costs.
To be true, I already accepted the deal. I could go back, though, since I have the save. I managed to sign Andresen, Beveridge, Aviv Barak, O'Neill (he said the signing was due to the great manager QPR now has... what a wonderful kid ), Anyanwu, Greene, Johannesson, Jose and Stegeman (Everton wanted more then 10kk for Konrad). I sold some bad players and loaned others.
We had a player with the number of home grown players, so I had to let Yilmaz out of the squad. I think I'll try to sell him, even though he's a good player.
Should I go on with the games without Brian and Dantski's feedback? I think I can play my turnset until the weekend if we don't wait for them. I'm using one of your previously saved tactics, TT, the 4-4-2 wide diamond one.

Sorry other people have been sucking up my free time lastfew days and haven't looked at save.
Guess all I have to say is, we probably don't need half if any the players we've signed in order to be promoted. Our team is apparentely good enough already, so given the circumstances I would've plumped for youth > experience.
Anyway good luck on the turnset Ich, leave me 10 points clear, in the FA Cup 4th Round with no injuries ok?
