Bull. Shit.
No effort at all to not double move, it's his entire battle plan. Just watch the clock and play while the other guy is at a disadvantage. No wonder he wins so many of these games. Fuck it, if that's how he wants to win go for it, he has proven nothing by me.

What is your force composition and do you have any way to retaliate against LP? Do you see any way to goad/convince HAK or Azza to coordinate an attack?
Sorry for your luck. Did LP really do an illegal double move within two hours? If so, you should put screenshots up in the public thread to move the needle against him again. Just my thoughts. I hate that you aren't enjoying this now, but if he did illegal move (again), I can understand the frustration.

Anyone can check Civstats. He didn't break the letter of the rule (as usual), because he doesn't do THAT, he walks right up to the line, leans over it, but won't step across it because he isn't a rule breaker. ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) Or so he would say if there was an official protest. He'd lawyer the simple rules we have saying he wasn't the last to end turn (Sunrise was) so the two hour waiting period doesn't apply to him. And yes, that's the rule as WRITTEN, but seriously...in a casual game...the rule was only implemented as a basic method of referreeing these types of incidents. In a game designed for casual play the idea was we wouldn't need complicated rules because this wasn't going to be a game for power gaming assholes. Well so much for that, over and over.
I know I'm an asshole myself and I never claimed I wasn't. But let's look back at the history of this game and see how many people have accused me of doing wrong and how many have accused Parkin of it. I remember three right off hand, probably more like everyone who has had a military action against him. I will never play any game with that guy in it, no rules can hold a shit like that. To Parkin the rules are the challenge, not the game, to see how he can work the rules to his benefit. Well fuck that, I came here to play a nice game of Civ 4. He can go to hell.

Meh, Mao is tenacious, and undoublemoveable. Retire?

I'm trying to decide what to do. I say move every unit we have west and if MackSeven eats our eastern flank, so be it. I'd rather they succeed than LP. Although Seven is an asshole too (from what I see in this forum, anyway, I don't know him in RL maybe he's a saint) Mackoti hasn't done anything to piss me off so I can give credit to his half of their team. They've played a good game in spite of the attacks we threw at them (they're not blameless with their own double moving but who can have good neighbors in this day and age?) Parkin, though, has been down this road multiple times and every time he gets called out for power gaming it falls on deaf ears because he doesn't understand why he's wrong. As far as I know every time he's been in a conflict he gained decisive advantage by playing his patented clock games, so I don't want him to win, plain and simple. I know we can't win and there's probably nothing anyone else can do to keep him from winning, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let him enjoy it.
The problem with this is if other people are enjoying this game it isn't fair to feed territory to an adversary by intentionally neglecting to defend an area, just to troll the leader. But this game was never about being fair and there were losers on turn zero just because they happened to neighbor people who didn't understand what the game was supposed to be about. So I don't know what to do. But if I play this turn I'm sending everything west. Not that we have any boats to do anything with the units, but who cares?

Commodore, what was your plan for the GS born out of Seneca? He can bulb Aesthetics, which won't do much to get rid of Parkin's two troops. Can settle for +1 hammer, +6 beakers per turn, or an academy. Academy seems better than settling as we're making more than 12 bpt in Miccosukee so the Academy will pay more beakers than settling. I don't think we're in position for a golden age but then again, we're probably not destined to have much of a golden age anyway. For now I'm moving him toward the capital.

Academy or settle, I'd say, unless we can clear to Optics.

Lurker question, if we still have any: Is there an award for the player who had the worst diplomacy? If there is, I feel like it's going to be named the Xenu award, unless someone has already invented that award for the most irrationally angry player in a game (which may have previously been called the Gaspar award, as that was his signature line for a while...but I'm sure Gaspar probably has another award named for him from all the games he's played in).
Anyway I'm just trying to think of things I can still win in this game, since winning the game is a obviously out. As stated in the public thread if there was something I could do to help Parkin lose the game I'd go 100% for that, but we're in no position to help that effort. As far as I'm aware the only thing I can do to stop his advance is to not lose anymore cities to him. There's a plan underway for that. If anyone follows civstats you've probably seen it in action. As a bonus, any cities he does take will be rather depopulated. In either case, Mao is happy: either we keep the cities we have or Parkin gets to bury all the peasants we whipped away. We don't have time to open pits in the earth for all that.
Also, is there precedent for pillaging all of your own improvements? I don't think we're at the stage where we have to start doing that yet, but if I have a chance I'll sure as hell terraform my map to look like it did the day it spawned from the map generator rather than give Parkin any working cottages.

These two come to mind for you (not a spolier at all): - The WarlordDr Award (PB4) - Warmonger of the year award for least infrastructure
- The "Krills' 12 steps to greatness" award (See all Krill games) from most retarded drunken behaviour
Not necessarily goodies.
Also, your rage may inspire an award to be named after you, but I would not advocate for that. Do you really want to be remembered as a raging lunatic? ASM should have sewn that up for this game, but try not to go all scorched earth (anymore than you have already done in the diplo thread at least). Others have managed to take their losses relatively well. I like this new (kinder, gentler?) version of Xenu. Seven really isn't a bad guy, so it's good of you to somewhat mend fences. Keep it up.

How is that what WarlordDr's award is a reference to? He didn't stick around long in PB4, how much infra was he supposed to build? Besides, he didn't build enough military to qualify as warmonger of the minute, nevermind the year. If I win the WarlordDr for this game it will be for the most appropriate WarlordDr reference in the diplo thread.
I suppose I could make a claim to the Krill award if you base it upon the most obnoxious drunken play rather than the most frequent. I've only played/posted drunk a few times but the result wasn't pleasant when it happened.
I can live with the rage award. I was going to change my tagline Commodore-style to (Violent, Insane) after reading the PBEM29 lurker thread, but I thought leaving it with Tyrant was more suited to my personality. Anyway I just hope I win something. I don't want to be like the kid who doesn't get ice cream after losing 22-0 in a little league baseball game.
