The game you were what with Ryan? Which game was that?

Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

MJW really has been spamming up the lot, and not just with the thought crime.
Again this is weird - so you're vote on MJW is because it fits with your other suspects, then why aren't you hitting them???
I agree with MJW here tbh, you aren't really making your own cases like I'd expect you to, just the one on azza which you've already dismissed.

jowy Wrote:Q, just cause I said that I will not hold a grudge if you miss-lynch me, doesn't mean that I will be laughing at you if it happens, or that I've given up. I honestly believe that by not being baited to long drawn out repetitive pissing contents, the village will get more scum hunting done and will have a better chance to win the game. It was the big lesson everyone should have taken from the last game. And while I understand how it might look scummy if I ignore some questions, I also believe that I would look even more scummy if I were to ferociously defend myself like in the last game.
Yeah I agree that we don't want any grudge flame wars, but that doesn'te mean you shouldn't be defending yourself. People will disagree, sometimes vehemently (read WW18 for me and serdoas 48hr of fun...) but that doesn't mean you shouldn't defend. I don't think you would if you actually defended and interacted with people, and if you did, then that is stuff for you to defend against. Obviously the votes aren't against you like before, but its still really weird that you aren't responding - and in doing so, robbing is of your thoughts on people (which are quite good - I liked your comments last night, its just when you are attacking people for asking you questions rather then responding, it wears thin.

MJW, you do spam up the thread, but normally there is some scumhunting in there, which is what is different this game.

I've been scum hunting by attacking Zak and pointing out people who attack novice are scummy.

I'll go with MJW, though a dice roll might be fair as well. Thing is, if MJW turns out to be a wolf, it would fill a lot of pieces in the puzzle.

I haven't dismissed the case on Azza, but I got no traction on him, and he is very much compatible with MJW as scum. And I like MJW better than Mattimeo.
If you know what I mean.
