As for your proposal: I don't see an issue with it as it is. Though I obviously will always have to take into account how the geopolitical situation looks like. Or said bluntly: I don't want to upset the No. 1 power in the world (well, I did when I burnt Ilios city, but you know what I mean ). I don't think though that anyone would have issues with it.

Regarding the compensation, I have to think about. Nothing special though I guess. Palace mana loan, gold, stuff like that. Let me think about it.

Question about the tech plan then. I'm guessing we'll be working on a force of catapults and wood golems, hence the delay on Bronze Working. Keep a close eye on the power stat though. If you get even a whiff of the next attack, it might be good to get bronze working in so we can get emergency bronze warriors as needed.

We don't have copper though. Copper is revealed at mining, and we have none. So Bronze working won't help much in defense.

Um. Is there any reason to put it in the tech progression at all then? We're not getting axemen. We're not getting bronze weapons. We're not getting training yards. Seems like without bronze warriors, we can skip the tech until we need it for prereqs. Which means after KoTE.

Yeah I know, only reason it's there is because I've already put half the beakers in it. Oh and... we need BW for Warfare. I knew there was a reason I started to research BW.

Festivals -> BW -> Warfare then.

But that means i'll probably revolt to aristocracy first, and then another turn for warfare, because I need my GNP going as fast as my cities grow to their happy caps. Depends how soon the cities reach their happy caps. 3 sizes to grow into I think. If i'm only a few turns from Warfare I'll wait of course, but I doubt it.

Given that you currently have 1 farm, how worthwhile is Aristocracy to you?

I have 4 farms running right now, but I obviously won't revolt until I get all my farms in Ithralia up as well. At that point i'll have about 10 riverside farms, which is 30 commerce extra!
