I like the new two turns per day pace.
On an unrelated topic, I found a Chinese localization patch for Civ4. Anyone willing to let me use it on the off chance it breaks something?

The 2/day works because I've been waking up and sending my turn around 2200 GMT before Sian goes to bed, and I play before 1300 GMT before I go to bed.
As for the localisation patch? As long as it breaks it on your end and not ours, it's probably okay  . You might get some weirdly named units and buildings.

@ TheStick : SP Deity game normal speed (do have good land though)... I am putting 1t of research into Engineering (to get a decent trade) and then on to Gunpowder. Note that Globe Theatre is almost completed (running Pacifism/Caste until GP pops then OR/Slavery). Probably going to wipe out Izzy with cuirs (she is so backwards ). Deity isn't easy by any stretch, but you should definitely give it a try. 
Edit: The banter thread can be for anything right? Sorry if that isn't the case.

Okay, applied the patch. Surprisingly, it worked! I don't see any side effects yet, except for messing with the font of the English version. Is anyone willing to let me play the turn with it on, hoping nothing on your end gets screwed up?

Turns out the patch works. I rush-sent PBEM 41 with it on since I didn't have time to turn it off, and since TheMusicMan isn't complaining about any bugs, I think we're good. (If I've done something wrong, please let me know.)
Now how do I get this thing RB Mod approved?

turn turnaround will be slow for team SAT today. A lot of thought has to go into this turn and it's busy at work
