Loaded up about half of my total power into boats so far. Got another 8-10 transports completing and sailing towards the harbor.. i give it exactly 2t till i launch the attack. ( unless something drastic happens ) Im soooo thankful that Vanillaisis isnt on a hill...

Of course, Mr.Cairo had some hidden power on his own transports. He unloaded all? of it ( mostly infantry ) into the city and is now busy building Anti-tanks everywhere. This, coupled with both JR4 signing open borders with him.. AND MC having 2 reserve artists and being close to his victory... AND still not have turned on the culture slider.... I figured its now or never to begin phase 1.
Lots of images, lots of spoilers. You have been warned.
3 soon to be legendary cities:
I fully expect him to turn the slider on this turn. ( really hate that i couldnt get the 2nd half of the turn )
Graphs:
The bump in the graph is from a shitty great spy spawning which i used to get city vision on his capital a couple turns sooner ( and probably prevent him from seeing any of my graphs? wish it showed what your enemy could see with their EP )
Included, but kinda obvious. No one else is gonna win via culture.
I expect this graph to see some shark fins soon.
The only time/game where im leading in food and it means jackshit by this point.
The only metric that i can lead in for a long long time. Potentially can use this to build spaceship parts? More likely just more tanks than the next guy and force a concession? EHHHHHHH
My research has cratered without research/wealth builds as to be expected. I will be keeping any/all land i can of MC's ( other than razing his legendary cities ) but im doubtful ill get the opportunity.
Population shows people like living in the serial killers cities..
Being able to 1-2t nearly everything is fun!
Gold was used for upgrades.
Various points of interest for this war:
Im really expecting MC to throw his entire mobile force at this city which ive stuffed with nearby defenders. ( MC has alot of cavalry/some tanks ) Would be really funny if he sent that force THRU JR4 hoping to hit me... and then JR4 declares on him...
He can break thru this, but it will cost him some ships. I plan on razing sparta, and landing some MG's/antitanks and an artillery next to Yokel to force a bad hammer trade for him to prevent me from slowly wearing the city down. REALLY wish i had flight to cut roads/railroads. I dont see workers nearby... :/
Spotted a shitty city that deserved to be razed by my extra knights... so thats what happened down here. Im hopeful that he doesnt spot my extra knights in these cities so that when he kills that musketeer with something ( hoping not like... a tank ) i can revenge kill with the knights which i dont care if i lose.
I will say this. If JR4 backstabs me while MC still has a chance of winning via CV ( meaning before one of his 3 cities is razed ) im conceeding/quitting this pitboss. I dont care if he backstabs me AFTER... its kinda expected and im preparing for it with artillery... but before would be just a.. Censored move.
IF there is anything i didnt cover, or any questions.. feel free to ask.

Airships are something ive never used. Apparently even with what i recall as "reduced damage vs water units" they do enough to give MC decent odds on a large chunk of my fleet. Killing 11 ships or so last turn. I killed.... 3? of his.
Yay.
He burnt thru all of his cash on upgrades by the looks of it, so no speeding up that CV with the slider this game. This gives me 2 options. Continue to build transports/ect and hope to have a critical ratio that can burn Vanillaisis.. ( such as 100 units to his 70, with most of mine tanks ) OR i rebuild my fleet and sail around and force him to give up the fortify bonus whenever possible while HOPEFULLY JR4/Wetbandit slide in there as well.
Sorry WB bro, i dont need the happy.. and i REALLY need this wheat.
My "total" forces vs
Both of his cities worth of garrisons. ( vanillaisis is the faded one )
He still has his main stack sitting where that tank is. He did end up vacating most of the units out of the capital which gives me SOME hope that things can improve soon.
For those keeping track at home, here is the victory screen.

Naval situation is not the best, at least on the BIG ocean. which is why im building more battleships/destroyers.
Current military plan is to cause him to lose ships at a faster rate than he can build them while moving transports around to threaten multiple cities.

Not much of an update sadly, im continuing to stock transports with troops on both oceans hoping for an opening.. Airships continue to evade my destroyers ( they can intercept them... RIGHT? ) and damage my battleships. He currently has 2 more warships than i do. But, just one of my coastal cities out produces his entire naval production capacity ( even with 2 more god damn global warming events on my cities ) So ill have enough to contest open water soon enough.
Wetbandit/JR4 havent engaged yet, but both are able to soon. Im willing to bet they wont till his shrine city goes legendary. He also moved his entire mobile force into his capital. Once i have confirmation from a kind lurker <3 about destroyers being able to shoot down airships, ill move everything into the open water and be able to boat 2-3 cities depending on how he defends.
On the smaller ocean/sea front.. ive got 3t till my transports i just made catch up and im able to take/raze sparta in 1t. If DZ decides to throw a wrench in the plan.. i will have no problems razing 3-4 of his "core" cities. Play along DZ and ill join you vs JR4 later.

Really hope that all of these players trully cant make the timer yet, and arent just playing clock games... But im willing to bet they are considering the only ones at war are myself and Mr.Cairo. So if anyone asks for a pause/extension im going to be rather pissed.

In one of your pictures from post 343 there is a damaged airship in the city. Did you remember him attacking something else than naval units to explain it ?
Looking at the log will confirm it was damaged by a destroyer (he posted the log in case you wonder... )
so yes destroyers can intercept.
Was hoping the airship(s) would die when they are intercepted... CAN they even die?

This city WILL go legendary unless Wetbandit/DZ go for it immediately. Concern %- 5
This city has 2 GA's ready to plop down if need be... JR4 needs to MOVE NOW FFS... concern %- 95
I dont think he can reinforce this city enough over the next 10-15t ( please please give me at least this much time ) to not allow me to slam into it with over 120+ units Once the anti tanks are killed ( and unless i get a shitload of bad luck ) the tanks should run thru a good chunk of the defenders... Marines hopefully can 2v1 the defenders... and i hope to have enough extra ( got 80 units IN transports for this city alone right now ) to be able to guarentee that this city burns. The trouble is... i have a feeling he will move his entire southern garrison into this city. I NEED SUPPORT to draw units away... Wetbandit when are you coming in bro?
JR4 you coming in? JR4?
HELLO?
Ive taken a small hit to power nearly every turn due to my inability to understand how airships work. Guess thats what i get for having never used them or seen them used till now. Man, they are maybe not OP... but fuck are they annoying to deal with. How do you counter them? Stack up destroyers? IS there a counter? God damn shit balls. Sorry about the rant but those annoying lil bastards are driving me to drink.
Anyway.. Unless airships/ect happen to change something for me. Im going to burn Sparta in two turns. Which gives me room to drop off some annoying MG's/antitanks and start pinging the defenses of Yokel without allowing collateral to be worth using.
I expect to take the seas permanently in 6t, and be able to burn a city on his east coast within 10t. Maybe sooner depending on his build choices.
