I am having trouble with the game. I connect fine, get the civ choice, pick, enter my password, data is being dowloaded etc. and it gets stuck with a "Finishing" window. I restarted my computer and the problem persists... Any advice?
EDIT: If I press escape I get a menu, but choosing 'exit to main menu' does nothing. EDIT2: If I am the last one please pause the game. I'll try to join again in a bit. Kalin
I experienced Kalin's problem - sounds like something is up with the game.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Hi Kalin,
That exact problem appears from time to time. You can kill the Civ process to exit. But also leaving it alone for long enough usually results in eventually getting into the game (maybe when the dude causing the connection problem logs out?) so it's not a permanent freeze. So it's good to know that it wasn't just me... Kalin 
a certain someone told me that they had a copy of a certain something that he was going to upload ... I think you just have to reach out to 'someone' to get your own copy.
