I'm probably going to need a pause. My 4G box broke. Could take over a week to fix says the shop, but I will hopefully sort something out in the meanwhile.

Ugh. Got a spare box, can't use it on desktop cause the desktop lacks a wifi receiver and the spare box is wifi only.
Laptop got wiped out earlier due to an infinite loop in windows update so I have to reinstall Civ there.
Currently fighting to install an old Directx which Windows doesn't like. It would normally install with Civ setup, but the laptop has no disk drive so I had to just copy the files over.
What a pain. But I should be able to play tomorrow.

On a side note it's pretty ridiculous that even downloads from Microsoft.com come with five bloatware programs.
