Heh, I didn't realize you build that many, Plako. But I guess the more cities you have, the more workers you can build. Same is true with workers and settlers too.
Do you have any ideas for dot map? I favor founding on the Northern Plains hill by the desert. That'll be able to work just enough cottages to use all its pop with an option to swap to some light production.

One of the whips was probably a bit excessive, but at least we get the resource tiles improved quickly and are prepared to build cottages. For a short while our economy is doing pretty badly, but this shouldn't last that long.
Concerning dot mapping in the north. The plains hill is definately on option, if we want a pure cottage city. However I don't like the fact that it isn't coastal when there is crab tile in the BFC. Other alternatives are 1W from the plains hill or plains forest W-SW from it. The positioning depends a bit also whether we will focus more on specialists or cottages.

And Pottery shouldn't be too far away; 4t at most?
About circumnav. Does anybody know, if it would be enough to move only warrior or scout towards each other or do I had to move both? To be certain I'll probably move both, but for future reference it would be nice to know.
Pottery should definately come in 4T. Laying down some cottages will also be helpful to our economy and I'll be switching our barracks cities to build granaries.

We can build a boat out of the Western Fish city.

But never build a lighthouse.

We could make it costal with the fresh water lake instead and make it like 2x light houses.
Actually scratch that, we can settle on the coast and instead found another city like 1 SE of the northern sugar for 4 lake and around 8 ocean tiles. That should be our Moai city.
Not sure about how to do our econ. We can definitely go either way. What do you think about going for those 'mids, plako?

![duh duh](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/duh.gif) I did forget that without city garrison happy cap after whip is just 2 and all of my units are pretty far away from Noms. I'll just whip spear out of the city then to reside as city Garrison until whip anger wears out.
Circumnavigation should be ours. Unless someone finished it this turn also and gets lucky.

For circumnav you only need to defog one tile in every x coordinate of the map. Moving your warrior got it for you.

oops. Didn't spot this message earlier. 1SE of the silk would be a good spot for a Moai city. It would have fish and lake whale as additional resources and there is plenty of room west from it to found other city.
Concerning our economy I'll start cottaging our capital. Representation would be really great in this map, but I want something to improve the production speed before trying Pyramids. Basically there are 2 things we could do to improve production speed i.e Maths for better chops and/or Monotheism that hopefully would give us religion and OR.
The problem is that, if I wait too long Luddite might get it with an Engineer that he'll probably rush out from Forge after Oracling MC. Naturally this is all speculation, but I know he is going towards Oracle and he is industrious so MC is the most probable Oracling target.

Thanks. It feels logical like this, but I didn't want to take the risk of losing circumnav.

Big news of the turn is obvivously Luddite finishing Oracle and grabbing MC with it. I had a chat with him and he probably goes towards Polytheism next.
Other news is that we got +1 movement for our ships ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) .
Home front I did quite a bit of sacrifices to finish Pottery next turn i.e. utilising non-optimal tiles. Noms was also whipped.
For dot mapping purposes here is a bit better view of the north.
