whipped lib, WB, 2 chariots.

I think we need to build some barracks or settlers or something - we have huge power and unit costs. Or maybe go all in with units, i dunno....
0% research this turn - we have a problem, in that our break even is about 30% with all the units.
We'll see what we get next turn.
If we can grab Toga it'll be worth it ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) . The cities we laid down in the north aren't paying off quite yet. If Sian will acquiesce after our smash and grab we can swing around and do the same to our other neighbor if we're feeling mean. If he won't, we can probe a chariot or two in and see if he's holding Chiton like he should. Another thought is to use the overflow in Analogy to push a chariot and harass him up north as well.

So I was taking pictures for a stitch and it turns out that there's iron in the far north a galley's trip away. So strictly speaking we don't need war to not lose. But I think we ought to take the chance to burn Sian here. One warrior + whatever we can't see in the fog and a low soldier count + needing to watch nicolae means we've got a really good shot here I think.

I didn't see that iron up there - how did we possibly get visibility on that tile? From the world wrap?
I think we want Toga, too. Make Sian fight for iron for his mighty cataphracts.
That said - I think if we get Toga easily, we should move on to Chiton in force. A holy city and a religion? yes, please

Dunno. We've had visibility on it all game though.
And yeah. Nicolae will probably pounce if we take a city, and if we do take Toga we can totally encourage him to that effect. (Hey don't run your scientist specialists, pile on Sian instead!)

That's wierd. We certainly have. What the hell does that mean?
I guess it was worldbuilder'd to be visible? Probably by accident - I wonder if it's that way for everyone.

Could go either way to be honest. Map maker could be saying: "Look you don't need to flip out and wardec if you lose the settling race..."
If that's the case, I could hypothesize that perhaps there are horses on the southern islands?

Getting all metagame about it... it certainly makes Commodore's request to view the entire map more interesting
Since he hasn't made any announcement, I guess he's not seen anything unbalancing, so I guess everyone has it - or, he's told everyone (who has iron working, at least)
I was going to search for posts by Commodore, but then i realized that just titles or first lines could be spoilerish, so that's out.
btw - thanks for your help with PBEM34 ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) I'll update my thread there more

He whipped a Workboat!!
68.7%
I say we do it and immediately follow with the axes & Holkan. Other thoughts on the turn to follow.

or, we can hold off 2 turns and let him net the fish.
I am not sure what the right thing to do is, to be honest. Half of me thinks we take it now, half says we wait.

He could move reinforcements in during that time. Workboats are cheap. Getting that position at the cost of a 20H chariot is priceless. If he's got any reserves we can burn the city. If he doesn't we can keep it. Even if we lose the fight this turn we're still going to show 2 chariots, 2 axes, and a Holkan threatening next turn.
Come'on, let's go for it!!!
