PBEM 7 - Team Contest (4 x 2) - discussion

Well this is actually a very bad issue for me. I can only get city info on cities that I can click on. I no longer can see for instance the city size and name of other cities. This included allies, city states, and other civs. I played my turn and passed as I go a turn without this information, however I really need this fixed.

I am uninstalling the game and going to reinstall in hopes that this solves it.

To note, I started several single player games and they all had the same issue. I messed around with all of the options, changed resolution, swapped to only one monitor and nothing worked. CQUI shows all the information, but I am unable to scroll right or down and can't move. I can probably play my turns by first loading the with CQUI taking screenshots and then playing without it, but that seems tedious and will be very difficult form me when I play over teamviewer.

Let me know if any one else has / fixes this issue. Ill post later if a fresh uninstall / reinstall fixes the issue.

You need to disable CQUI in the Additional Content screen and/or unsubscribe from the mod to uninstall it. If you're leaving it enabled (or install it after a clean game install) after the patch it's going to cause problems.

I'm also seeing a lack of city bars in my SP game. I've been using CQUI for so long that I wasn't certain they were supposed to be there in vanilla. smile

This is with CQUI disabled in game in the Additional Content game. Might work differently if it's not installed at all.

Reinstalling and unsubcribing fixed the issue. Not sure if the reinstall was necessary but it worked.

Does anyone have the patch notes. That might be more interesting

No mention of the trade routes changing to 1st building but do mention science rate changing from 0.7/pop to 0.5/pop and no more GG/GA stacking.

I found it...important for us:

BALANCE CHANGES

Diplomatic actions now scale with game speed.
Government Policies that increase production on Melee class units now include Anti-Cavalry class units.
Change tech boost for Steel to add a soft prerequisite that hints you probably want Ironclads before Destroyers.
Barbarian difficulty has been updated to scale with each difficulty level. (Warlord, Prince, King etc...)
Healing plunder reward from Farms reduced from 100 to 50.
‘Sack’ government policy has been removed and its effects have been added to the ‘Raid’ policy.
Naval combat changes – Bombard land units are now more effective against naval units, Ranged land units are less effective against naval units.
Pillage rewards are now displayed in the tooltip of the Pillage action button.
Boost number of random Apostle Promotions from 2 to 3.
Reduce Science per population from 0.7 down to 0.5.
Great Admirals and Great Generals have a combat bonus and a movement bonus, they no longer stack.
Gold and Faith rewards from Tribal Villages now scale with Game Speed.

Most important is science rate and stacking of GG/GA etc

A whole cookie!?

Woden, we gotta step our game up, I need this.

Anyway, most of the changes seem minor. Do we know if changes like the envoy system and the trade route system are hitting yet? I don't WANT to have to build lighthouses. frown

For reference, it looks as though restarting the game (having previously disabled CQUI) is enough to fix the city bars and other UI oddities. Hopefully CQUI will be back and working again soon.

Back in business with a new GPU! Should be no further trouble from now.
