I will very much argue that groups of two or five is better than being dominated by one.
Wisconsin has an incredible high density of grocery stores especially for our low population. We also have the lowest grocery bills in the nation. And no we don't only buy brats, cheese, and beer.

Greenline, that comparison makes no sense and ignores every physical social and economical reality on the ground, no matter how conveniently soundbite-sized it is for the average american audience.

Any government owned media model is almost certainly going to be bias.
VS the a privatized model where sure different platforms may not have certain things, but you can still find.
On the other hand, in many democratic countries the public news networks are the best news network you can find. It's certainly the case here in France, where even though I dislike the public news network it remains a million times better than its main private competitors (mostly held by billionaires). The only places where you can get better quality of journalism are online newspapers that have a clear political bias but do good work, and a few mainstream newspapers.

Journalism really needs to embrace this "you have a political bias, don't pretend you don't" while keeping the rest of journalism's constructs (like how you source information) more or less as-is. Especially if journalism's going to survive on subscriptions instead of ad revenues - the market requires a different approach.

People give too much credit to what journalism brings to the table. The story eventually comes out that a bunch of America's most prominent political elites were involved in visiting a private island to have sex with underage girls. Nothing came of this story coming to light, except that some of the underlings involved were brought to court and then obviously murdered in prison so they couldn't testify. The press said for months that the idea of COVID 19 being a lab leak was some kind of racist conspiracy theory. Now the papers suggest the idea has merit. Nothing still has come of that knowledge being acknowledged as true. Such is life.

In case of war, can/should us simultaneously disabled the millions of Tesla EV sold in China or elsewhere?

No. For one thing, a War With China would be very much not on US soil - it would be a naval and air war outside Taiwan, and hopefully not ground fighting in Taiwan.

Sold In China - Not made in China. That would be quite something though since ~50% of total Tesla EVs are made in China
China has got to know we are spying on their citizens with Tesla, right?

China has capabilities that can threaten US soil.
