Yes, apparently Serdoa didn't GE build the Mids which is good for us. And in this case... eh, do we want to consider him a juicy target?
Map trade is a good idea, I think. Let's see if they agree. We need a lot more information about the land.

Switching the farm to the wine at SM is fine. We'll most likely whip an axe or a mish (after the granary) into the LH anyway for good overflow so growing to sz 3 quickly isn't really required. Might as well get the extra commerce and hammers. Good call.

There is a reason why we need Triremes:
The map trades did give us some nice map info.
Here is Serdoa's lands, far to our north:
And Space's lands to our northeast:
Space is at war with Brick(?)
We have Scooter to the west:
And to Scooters west is Commodore(?):
To Serdoa's northwest Azza:
And north of Azza is Lewwyn:
Analysis later....

Somewhat of a pickle...
Since the barb galley can see Dora, the barb galley will now try to follow and destroy the WB. If Dora heads to the galley then we might be prevented from landing the settling party (plus Dora would have to flee back to SM). Best thing to do is lead the barb galley away from ours. Worse case scenario is we do land off the settling party but then have the empty galley get attacked the following turn. Moved Dora to the lure position safely.
FoF switched build to a galley. We'll 2 pop whip next turn (losing a mine) to have the galley in place to defend our seafood. We have a warrior coming down that can negate the whip unhappiness. CG switched build to WB since we have an extra happy and can whip the WB into the worker @ sz 7 (2t). Hopefully we only lose the one seafood. Ended turn.

Okay, good call! Let's hope we can get some scouting Triremes out soon to keep our seafood safe.
Interesting to see a map that's a bit resource poor. We haven't seen that in quite some time.

The barb galley made the worst move possible. Moved our Galley and unloaded the Settler/Chariot.
Set research to MC and science to 0%.
Hinduism spead to Yellowhammer (where ever that is...)
For you to end turn.

The Dora chase (or if you like 'gotta catch em all')...
There is still the possibility that the barb galley will attack ours. The more likely scenario is the barb galley continues east trying to find out where Dora fled to. Pretty sure the jungle blocks the barb galley's vision on our galley but not sure what effect our units being on the jungle tile have. FoF whipped the galley and will grow back to sz 8 next turn. T101 demos...
Ended turn and also updated the sandbox (although I forgot to change barb galley AI to attack_sea)...

A new turn a new city:
Our income goes from +44 to +45!
Haven't made other moves, just looked around and changed MS to the silver mine.
I think we should start the setter in FoF next turn (after the Axe) and grow once the settler is done.
We need to improve the Wines for FoF soon as well.
Our Galley only has 32% odds or something...

Part 1 - Rope-a-dope continued...
If all goes as planned, we'll have enough time to safely ferry over an axe and worker to FG. Until we kill the barb galley, we can't net the fish safely. Our galley will be fortified once Dora loops around and hopefully the barb galley will suicide on ours. The situation at FoF...
We have our galley fortified and the barb should suicide on ours but there are no guarantees that the barb galley won't just pillage instead. Keeping my fingers crossed (in the sim, the barb galley did suicide without pillaging). CG will build two workers...the first will go improve the wine and the second will head to MS to chop.
Micro trick at MS...
We absolutely need commerce right now (already sick of the barb galleys) so want to work the silver mine as long as possible. Also, it does no good to whip a WB and not be able to work the netted crab. However, if we whip when the food box is 18/24, we grow to sz 2 the same turn the WB completes and work the silver mine until the crab is netted the following turn.

Part 2 - Oh, what a tangled web we weave...
Looks like Space is keeping an eye on us. I noticed his WB in the same spot last turn. Naturally, I ducked back out of view. We'll keep on the merry go round for as long as he likes...I am sure he knows that we know that he is there.
Our power is getting a little better (at least compared to Serdoa). Iirc, triremes are worth more soldier points than galleys so not sure why we are ahead of Serdoa. Has he built any triremes? I am somewhat confused. Checked the diplomacy screen and Serdoa still only has six cities although that should change I would imagine.
Ended turn.
