Hey Northstar, I hope things are settling back down for you.

Just to note that the earliest I can typically (95%) play a turn is 8pm Central US, so there's no need to rush to get it to me before that. (although if it does arrive early, there's a chance it hits the 5%! smile )

Having said that, you may be last in the in-game Turn Order, but you're in the middle of the play window order that we set up at the start - i.e.

Kragroth -> Northstar -> Dreylin -> Q

with the first three of us running through the save in our evening over the space of a couple of hours, and then it sitting in a combination of Q & Kragroth's inboxes before progressing the same time the next day. If I understood correctly, your play window has got somewhat earlier in the day since we started and it may now end before Kragroth's starts? (I don't know if you did explicitly post a new play window for this game) In which case, yeah we should be expecting 48hr turns unless Kragroth can play earlier - which he does seem to have the flexibility to do - or Q and I turn the save around quickly enough to get back to him.

Anyway, to my mind a "Delay" only occurs when one of us can't play during our stated play window and has not been able to advise of that ahead of time. If (e.g.) you get the turn after your window and it sits in your box for 20hrs until next day's window, that's not a delay attributable to you.

Would it be worth us reviewing all of our play windows again to make sure we're all calibrated?

Oh, and my e-mail receipt says 5:34pm Central, so I think that means no delay this time - unless I've forgotten and you're on Eastern, in which case 1hr in transit.

Not quite yet- I might have to move apartments to get away from the roommate who attacked me this weekend (that was part of what's been going on in my life...), it seems- as he is stubbornly unapologetic, aggressive, won't even tell the truth about what he did (despite my bleeding gums to prove it), and I have reason to believe might try something like that again... We're both adults, and have graduate degrees (hence why I referred to this as a "minor crime" before- at this age we're at it's technically physical assault and battery he committed, as it was unprovoked...)- you would think he would be more mature than this...

Yeah, that'd be helpeful!

Good. I just sent it to you again. 3:17 PM Central Time. Let me know if that arrived on-time as well. smile

<Snip> Ugh, sounds like a bad situation, and I hope you manage to extricate yourself without too much more trouble!

OK then!

My play window is pretty rigidly 8pm to 11pm US Central time (although I do stay up past 11pm far too often). 8pm is when the kids are reliably asleep, and anything before then is lost to them and work. I have an extra window on Sundays from ~10:30am to 12:30pm while the kids are with Grandparents, and can occasionally play other times during the weekend, but nothing reliable.

(I will screw that up completely on 16th when I travel to visit family in the UK and my window is likely to be ~6hrs earlier and less reliable)

On the dot. We should continue to generate a larger sample size, but maybe it was just a one-off.

Sounds like a fun time in the UK! Best luck visiting family!

I'm reliably free between about 5:30 and 7:30 PM Central time (as in, right now would be great) except on weekends where that shifts to about 7:30 to 8:30 PM on Saturdays and 2:00 to 4:30 PM on Sundays. Later in the night on weekdays and Saturdays I'm sometimes still awake (even though I have to get up at 5:00 AM for PT on weekdays- I've been trying to bike myself there lately as my ride has been unreliable, though I faced heavy hail and a large thunderstorm from about 5:20 to 6:00 this morning that prevented me from going- and on the day of a PFT too!) though on Sundays I'm reliably busy from about 4:45 to 9:00 with a church-class...

My e-mail sends or receives e-mails late pretty unreliably. As in, it probably happened once or twice before (I think not just that one time we noticed it), but maybe only happens to 1 in 12 of me e-mails normally...

Second Twenty-eighth verse, same as the first.

Who has the save?

Me. I wasn't able to get out a turn last night. Sorry about the delay.

I have to take a job skills test in a little bit. After that, I'll try to get it in by 6:30 Central Time, so hopefully we can try and knock out two turns tonight.

Turnplaying may be delayed due to family crisis. Not definitely, but maybe.

OK, just sent the save, timestamp 7:30. Sorry I didn't get it out sooner- that job skills assessment took me way longer than I expected (not only the test itself- but I found I couldn't take it at the location I thought I could, and had to travel to another location), and then I got lost for a good 15-20 minutes on the way home!
