If we are to respond to CFC's latest note, I think Ruff's proposal is the only real way. Or possibly WHEOOH, since they sent us a very verbose WFYABTA.
I'm quite unsure if CivPlayers are part of the suspected CFC-Apolyton alliance. I imagine CFC's diplo style can have grated even more on them than it did on us, though they do have the advantage of no tensions over land. And forget any idea of steering CivPlayers into attacking Apolyton - the geography's all wrong for that.
Either CivPlayers will have to go through CivFr, or they have to go through us (after we've taken over the German land to the west). I really doubt they're interested in doing a naval invasion.

Would vote not to respond to the CFC message. It doesn't raise any questions - they make their point relatively clearly.

I think it's fine to send a pithy acknowledgement that we got the message, and that we're no longer interested in dealing with them.
Just checking again, are those happy resources tied to the T175 NAP?

Everything's tied together into one mega agreement with CFC, that terminates T175.

Booo. At least we have time to build a round of spies and throw some EPs at them after the agreement ends.

If we respond anything to CFC, it should be that a 25-turn notice for war isn't a great strategic move.
How is their EP spending btw? I think I read a few days ago that they started spending points into us again, and it wasn't known at the time whether this was just to catch up with our EP spending on them or part of something more.

They didn't increase their spending against us, just their total EP output.

From WPC ...
Quote:Hello,
I can answer about the German team diplo.
14 days ago they sent a message that "they have noticed our increase in power, and would like to smoke a peace pipe".
We just said to them that we are modernizing our army and garrisoning all borders. Obviously peace was not an option.
Basically I said "Go away, we have no interest in talking to you" to them in more ...ahem... diplomatic way.
We have not heard from the German team after that.
I think they know our nation will attack them at some point, but I think we can catch them by surprise with the speed and strength of our attack. We've just entered a golden age before the attack to give a last boost to our efforts.
Best regards,
Tatu of WPC

I the RB muscle car doesn't run that smoothly in idle .. but could CFC use our non-trade of Marble as a NAP violation and thus render our T175 NAP void? Could they be getting ready to attack us?
