RPB3 SPOILERS Bismarck of India (regoarrarr, darrelljs, sooooo, sunrise089)

T39 rolled over.

Morgan (France) researched a tech, which is very likely Bronze Working

Kyan (Babylon) grew one pop point, which was likely in their capital, from size 2 to 3.

So what are we buildling in our new city?

The only talk I've seen is chopping out another settler.

Anything else?

Potential problem

I did some WB tests and in all the tests I ran, the lion (or any barb animal) was teleported out of borders on the inter-turn, so I think we're safe to chop with the worker 1E of Happy Hour

Also we're working the settler unless I hear otherwise, working our new 1/3/0 mine.

We now lose 4gpt @ max science. AH will take us 7 turns to research at 100%, so we need to save gold for 4 turns, or 11 turns total (T50). We might be able to shave that down by 1t.

I promoted our southern warrior to Woody 1. Northern warrior (on a hill) will face a lion across a river on the interturn.

Yes, the lion will definitely teleport out.
Btw, first in score? I smell a dogpile coming wink

We were one of the later (last?) civs to 2 cities due to Stonehenge, but we'll be one of the earlier civs to three, and the first to four. That could indeed get people's notice.

We're in the middle - 8th of 16 to 2 cities.

That's the kind of bravado we need more of! wink

Also, on the other hand Krill expressed concern to me about civs rocketing up in city numbers due to over-expansion while other people teched for them (and Krill would know about that too).

Some emails floating around between Egypt, HRE, and us

me:
Quote:They (Ottomans) seem like potentially a good civ to get Pottery by T62, since they started with Ag / Wheel.

HRE
Quote:I think they're already researching it. I should check C&D when they started

Krill
Quote:Just need a confirmation if they are the team going Pottery, in fact they are probably the best team to do it because they are the most central, so we are more certain that every team in the alliance can meet them (especially if they get out a few chariots) once Alphabet comes in. Every little helps if we were to try and get people to not research pottery.

HRE
Quote:I'll give A4 another day to come back to us, but since we had arranged for them to research Alpha before we met you guys, I'm pretty sure they are researching it atm.

This is one area I feel we have an advantage...us SP types have more experience dealing with maintenance at the higher difficulties.

Turn rolled over...Lion did teleport out as expected. I didn't make any moves; we need to select what to build at our capital.
