Thanks very much - that's good to know.
I do occasionally wonder if we overdo the turn reports somewhat. It's not like there has been loads of drama thus far (that we know of), but it's our first reported MP adventure, so we're feeling our way a little. And I am trying to make them a bit more event-based.
Plus our main aim is to let each other know exactly what's going on, as we don't really converse outside the thread too much.
Meanwhile, we await the turn once more...

Ruff said in reply: "those are some health hammer numbers". Any idea what the hell that means?
Pegasus meanwhile has asked if we have met anyone else. I told him that we've still only met Ruff and him. Obviously. Cos it's the ruddy truth.
I moved the warrior, back up to 1.9 health, SW. It revealed nothing further but he can head to the forested hill next turn. If he can be bothered.
Sabotage Production cost up to 230, so hammers only up 5 to 30. Seems a bit odd.
Well, it's time for a monumental moment. The settling of Big Slick, our second city. Barry and Chris immediately set about farming the corn field with reckless abandon. And Big Slick starts on a granary and works the flood plain. Our maintenance costs rise to 2, 1 for distance and 1 for number of cities.
Here are the demographics after Big Slick was settled.

Based on the scores and demographics, Ruff discovered a tech in just 3 turns and his capital grew to size 4. We got 3 points from founding Big Slick of course.
I reckon that Ruff got a 3k power increase (with no other changes), which I think is the population growth to size 4 (1k) and a 2k increase from the new tech. So it's Sailing, Hunting, Mining or AH.
He already has Mining, Sailing would seem unusual, 3 turns seems quick for AH, so I'd guess Hunting. But that seems a strange choice too - maybe for hooking up the ivory? Perhaps it is Sailing and he's going for a Great Wall / Great Lighthouse combo.

Healthy hammers maybe? Not that it makes much more sense.
I'm guessing Ruff picked up hunting for the bonus on animal husbandry.
So we're second to two cities then? Woot!
I have to run.

Yeah, not bad considering we picked up Stonehenge en route. No sign of an armada of Impis yet, so not sure what TT is up to - I reckon he'll settle soon, though. Ad hoc is behind because of his religion chasing. Ruff is growing his city so not building a settler just yet, although he could be switching in and out like we did. In any case, he's distracted by the Great Wall.

Got it.
Ruff is impressed with our fast start to the game, saying we've got off to a flyer. But through the diplo screen this time for something different. I asked what he meant by his previous comment and asked him on the Great Wall progress.
Meanwhile, Pegasus said he would speak to ad hoc about getting in touch with us. Here is the catch-up chat so that you know. You can also see that I moved the almost healthy Seven on to the forested hill.... and... all is clear! Presumably SW-SW next to try to uncover new squares?
Noticed that you have Big Slick switching to the forested hill, and Allen roads as per orders. Otherwise, all is quiet. Still 4 turns to Meditation after dropping down to 80% (breakeven research rate). Beakers are 73/123, which is 10 beakers ahead of the microplan. Go us!
Obligatory demographics picture:

No score changes. No population changes.
Slight power increases. Lowest power up to 23k from 22k, so I think Ruff leap-frogged whoever was there since there are no 1k builds. Total rival power went up 6k. No change in top power. So maybe TT built an Impi too. Beware!
Or... someone built an axe. I must admit to having lost track of the individual power ratings.
There is an easier way to solve this, since we have Ruff's graphs. I reboot the incoming save and check the power graphs. It does look like a 2k increase for Ruff (following the 3k increase last turn). Here it is, for reference:
So back to TT building an Impi...

Someone's got to stop me regoarrarr-style post spamming...
A brief think later and I figure it is actually fairly easy to work out. Average rival power has gone from 24,250 to 25,750, so total rival power has gone from 97k to 103k.
Pegasus: 30k->30k
Ruff: 22k->24k
Ad hoc 23k->23k (having previously gone from 15k to 23k because of BW)
And so, TT: 22k->26k
Yup, definitely an Impi build.
Forgot twice to check the hammers in Stamford Bridge. Finally remembered. Sabotage Production cost up to 268, so up to 35 hammers, another 5 put in.
Here is the MFG graph to help with that.
So Pegasus' hammers have gone 8-6-8 in the last three turns. If 5 hammers have been built in the capital that means three in OT (centre square + ivory, it has to be). Pegasus' capital is at size 3, so presumably he hasn't mined the copper yet and is working the wheat plus both the towns.
That's enough rambling for now. Novice can answer the question of what Pegasus is building.

Excellent job, Spaceman. I see our C&D department isn't dead after all. I agree that Seven should move south west next. The Impi build is interesting but first and foremost a problem for Pegasus and Ad Hoc. It needs 16 turns to reach our lands.

I think he's mined the copper. Old Trafford can't work the ivory - it's outside its current borders. Old Trafford is working a flood plains, Stamford Bridge is working the wheat, rice and mined copper. Last turn he worked the plains horse town instead of the mined copper, for some reason. I guess he wanted the commerce. Turn before that he grew to size three and the governor assigned the mined copper, which is what we see in the demographics, if I understand PBEM mechanics correctly.
EDIT: Not sure why he only has 35 hammers invested, though. Maybe the numbers are a turn behind, let's see how many hammers he has next turn.
I have to run.
