Bob, I'm glad someone else is thinking of "why catwalk" question. I think it's a question of who has a stake to lose from catwalk being a live. Will need to re-read his posts and see if something fits.

And I'm going to be a bit more forceful than you were about all this 3rd party b.s. This is reading more like a witch hunt than a wolf hunt (or a NAP hunt). Right now it reads like Selrahc's more interested in theoretical third parties than actually hunting for the bad guys we know are out there. First it was following up on a Meiz's theory that Tasunke might be a mindworm -- pushing that theory even when Meiz himself dropped it as being too far fetched -- and now it's aliens? This seems like the wolf tactic of getting the village to talk about meta and setup rather than focusing on finding wolves. None of that is profitable to us; Selrahc gets my vote

From reading the wiki, the two alien players may be third-party factions with the lyncher role: they win if they manage to lynch the other alien. This mean Lewwyn has a different objective than us, but he isn't hostile to us. So I don't see his role as an immediate reason to lynch him. In fact it would just allow the Usurper to win.

Well actually my win condition is the villager condition. I win when all threats to humanity are destroyed. I know its odd given my character's background, but you have to figure that's likely because Bigger only had so many names to work with.

Lewwyn seems innocent he's making a lot of mistakes. I know two things about Lewwyn and WW.

1) He's very good.
2) He really wants to be a werewolf

Why would he make all of these mistakes? at this stage double bluff seems a risky call.

I've had two beers, I'm playing cards with my extended family and I didn't get to the computer as fast as i would have liked.

See that's fine. I just know thats some people might try and do something sneaky, and i was just wanting to say something. And I understand I've been running between work and visiting with people irl too. I wasn't voting on you I was just asking, no need to be upset about it.

Looking through his posts, I still don't see anything indicating he was a particularly valuable villager (no offense buddy!).



In order:


His first post, he voted for Zak, on the basis that Zak is good at the game.

For his second, he said he found Selrahc suspicious, but didn't change his vote.

Third - fourth posts were spent justifying or reaffirming his vote on Zak.

Fifth post, unvoted Zak.

Sixth post, voted Molach, said Molach was acting like he had before when he was a wolf.

Posts seven - nine, said the dogpile on Tasunke was suspicious.

Post ten, voted thestick, said he was acting suspicious.

Post eleven, said voting pattern analysis was a waste of time.

Post twelve, said he wasn't so sure of thestick, wished to vote for Molach but knew there wouldn't be enough support.


The rest of his posts didn't seem very relevant, night time talk and I don't think he said he suspected anyone else, although I admit to skimming.



So, unless killing Catwalk was an enormous overreaction for his going after Molach a couple times, I'm stumped. It's not like any of Catwalk's posts were generating serious discussion or really turning the heat up on anyone.

Yeah, I read through Catwalk's posts now and don't see much that would make him a priority wolf target. Maybe this?

For the most part I'm just agreeing, yeah. This will be a lazy wolf game for me (like the last one I played in), not least because my amazing analytical skills led nowhere in particular in previous games Lazy villager rather than lazy wolf, though.
