[Spoilers] Dreylin's short visit to a late Era

OK, I'm done & out.

Overview stuff in the following post but:

1) Donovan took the Gems-Silks trade! Our 3rd Gems should be online next turn for +2 Happy cap!

2) Donovan got a GEng this turn ... I think he's grabbed the Statue in his Capital.

Overview at EoT:

Do we even bother with hitting Tom Brady or just leave those Rifles behind and head straight for Lance Armstrong after Tiger Woods?

Overview of builds:

And I forgot to end turn, so could you go ahead and do that if you see this before logging out!

Whats the point in keeping rifle on cooper? May be lets draft GP once more since we have got +2 happy? I am not feeling secure with just 2 rifles in front city and BGN's ships sailing around...

Probably no point at all! wink

Draft if you think it best, I was going to let it off for a while, but better to be safe.

Looks like we will have tight front with pindicator. Deers and sugar are worked.

Everything else looks well. I think DZ will attack REM, he is roading somewhere and it doesnt seem that he is hiding anything from us.

That's a bit of a shame if we are hoping for REM to join in and help us finish off Gaspar.

Tight border with Pin makes me want to ignore Brady even more until after we've hit Gaspar's core.

So assuming he doesn't produce 2Cats and hit our Cav stack, I really think that we should just leave the two Rifles in Tom Brady alone and send the whole stack past Tiger Woods at his Capital.

That city diverts 2-4Cavs to capture and then we have to garrison against pindicator - or just abandon. A size 3 border city is not the prize we're after and we'll need everything we can bring to crack the Capital IMO.

Next turn, we hit TW with Cavs until it falls, and then get everything heading towards Lance Armstrong before he can build up too much resistance. That leaves TB on its own and his supply lines splintered. Once we have LA, we can turn back and tidy up.

We are not "hoping" for it. We dont need help, but the problem is that Gaspar will probably leave front city with REM empty. I am more than sure that REM will not leave it waiting for us. I also think that REM has absolutely no power. He invested in settlers a lot and probably has big lack of workers. REM can produce power quick if he goes into GA and adopt nationhood.

I fear he could come using open borders with Gaspar, but I doubt he has any units right now and we must have caught him by surprise also.

I thought about leaving it as it is. When we were planning an attack I thought it would not be guarded heaviliy, but I was wrong because it is his active front.

It was size of 4 after the turnswitch and it will produce 1 units more at least. Right now we can take it losing 0-2 Cavs. If we dont want to have tight front with Pindicator then we can just raze it.

Cavs can take Tom Brady, former barbarian city and still be in time to the siege of Lance Armstrong.

I put Catapult in production in Donkeys because we might need more siege if we ge attacked by Pindicator, theatre is not that urgent. We indeed need Globe theatre but we dont have exact timing for it yet. I start thinking that GP is not the best city for Globe, because it is good city by its own as specialists farm. But let's weight all options we have.

I think that we need to make galleon chain to deliver some rifles from Chameleons and Goldfish to the former Gaspar's territory. We might need those rifles to finish Gaspar's last city or make basic defense against pindicator or whoever is that front with.

Here is Gaspar's core:

The land on this passage is good, but it is not important to own it for us, because we have the whole landmass behind.

Lets see what happens and how will it go, but it seems to me that once we establish control over Lance Armstrong we will be happy to have other 2 cities simply razed. Though the battle for LA must be serious compared to the "warm-up".

I am undecided what to do with Tom Brady. If we leave it as it is we will have to keep some defenses in Tigerwoods as well. Coming for it later will make pindicator well prepared and will put us into risky situation.

OTOH Pindicator is not ready to that Tom Brady is going to change owner right now. His front city is far from his core and the land between is not developed. So will he throw everything into opportunistic attack on the top power? I think he must be happy to keep his own front. I also have serious doubts that pindicators culture there is strong. In something like 4-5 turns we will restore borders.

I think it would be perfect to replant that city on the forest hill nearby, but do we need to raze it ourselves? This is an open question.
