I like SOUND next too. I somehow missed it in my first read, and I didn't think of it myself, but the logic works. I'd be happy to go for that next, although Bob can also have input. I think Bob made a good point about countries, so I'm not sold on them anymore, although I'm not super convinced by WASHINGTON either. Neither of you like NINJA for the fourth word?

NINJA is growing on me! It's a tough word to clue and explains why we got Goalie (gotta have the reflexes of a NINJA) rather than another sports word. I am happy with SOUND -> NINJA, with POUND as a possible +1. I like POUND less than the others because my instinct is that Goalies don't fight people, nor are they particuarly bulky (though I suppose they have a lot of heavy equipment in hockey).

Glass - seems certain
France - seems very strong

Greece - In modern times I'm struggling to remember if Greece still produces much wine - I certainly don't recall seeing much of it for sale versus Italian or Spanish options. But this is still probably the best connection due to there being a mythical god of wine, depictions of ancient Greece with grape vines in evidence, etc
Ambulance - due to alcohol poisoning or drunk driving
Platypus - connects strongly to Australia which is a noted (though not along the lines of France or Italy) wine producer
Chocolate - connects to the concept of dessert wines plus one of the flavors sometimes used to try to describe the taste of wine by connoisseurs (spoiler: all wine tastes like wine)
Mint - perhaps another wine flavor though not one I recall seeing used a lot
Washington/New York/Lawyer - all associated with the notion of drinking in an expensive/high-class setting
Roulette - connects to casinos and adult activities in general. Like lawyer, would be stronger with liquor or even beer versus wine

I lean Glass + France very strongly and feel good about Greece on balance.

Wine is usually served in a GLASS, and FRANCE is famous for it's production. It was also common in ancient GREECE.
GLASS > FRANCE > GREECE for me.
