agreed
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

So I think the Germans in these big games place A LOT of stock in getting a shrined religion. It is entirely possible the player is just following what the 'normal for meta play is'. If I was them I would 100% be teching MC for triremes and UB, so just be glad he isn't doing that lol.

I can "see" why, but as MALI..... he will basically never catch up with his low city count. Dragging me into a war (again) is just going to irritate me and i was WAS perfectly willing to let bygones be bygones but this is next level stupid.

If peace doesnt come by t80. I will be withdrawing from this farce. Not worth my time, and im on VACATION (at home) with nothing to do. This mali player is clearly either a troll, or wants to inflict soo many small injuries that neither of us win this game and will just be shoving axes into each other until Shaka runs us both over.

Drum roll please on WHERE you think horses will be on a nice balanced map that was handcrafted.
Did you expect everyone to have horses? WhY WoUlD ThAt Be BaLaNcEd.
Nope. 1. 1. SINGLE horse to share between 3-4? people. Makes AGG that much more powerful when nothing counters your c1 + shock axes eh? God damn this pitboss is a clusterfuck.
Mali of course pillaged my deer, and the only saving grace from me not having ended turn and posted in the tech thread that im looking for someone to take over, before it goes to AI...
I won the 9.9% axe v axe fight. Mali still has an annoying galley that "MAYBE" he has learned to put a 2nd axe on? Dunno. He can sit on my fish next turn, and i cant do anything about it. He can then pillage my fish the turn after and i can 2v1 galley attack it. Meanwhile he is whipping/building axes like crazy as shown in the above screenshot where you can see ive marked his galley + 2 axes guarding resources incase i dropped off units.
Meanwhile Shaka continues to build military. I cant SEE it, but i have to assume he is either at war with someone on the other side of him, or is prepping for a galley attack on Ginger?

Good ol' un-nerfed blockades. Civforum, why are you so unopen to changes that make SENSE.

hmm, didn't know cth nerfes it but I would be open for it.
Even in single player, I always thought that it is nonsense to block the sea farther away than you can see.
