In my 75 reports, i think ive either referred you to being the zulu spam, zulu, or some form of iju followed by smashing my keyboard.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I sent the scout straight south/south east along the coast more or less. He went west once he hit the edge, then north back towards the capital. Was planning on sending it west after that.

ooooh that is some tundra wasteland we've got here.... not even that much seafood either
thoughts about expansion order? one thing i AM liking about the start is the condition of the eastern islands for an early intercontinental city for magic 3 gold ICTRs... the capital's third ring borders expanding to pick up the clam 2E-1NE should really help the viability of that somewhere in the t50 range.... maybe ON the ivory so we get a free hookup, or the grass SE of the silk...? but ofc t50 is not exactly a second city timing lol. not sure what our best options for that are...... i guess deer + borrow capital corn + lighthouse lake is the best candidate revealed so far but it's tundrabound and probably still pretty weak without more food in the fog... i wonder if we need to save these tundra forests for lumbermills.... is there anything else useful to do with bare tundra in this game? at least we have the food to work them if we do that, unlike most naturally-generated iceball cities in BTS
Probably use one to help chop a granary or something? Id be down to MAYBE save for lumbermills.. but dont those come at like machinery? Im probably wrong (ha, look at my win/loss rate..) but chops/early snowball>late improvement? This is a small map iirc, so i dont expect it to go all the way to transports to be honest. Galleon warfare/frigates and at most infantry are gonna be the end game of this providing no one dies to something real dumb. Like amphibious longbows.

yeahh hmm, i guess you're probably right. i agree that we won't make it past galleons/frigates most likely but lumbermills would help a ton on this production-starved map for building them.... but not more than the whip, which is the logic i SHOULD be using normally i don't like completely blanking a tile like turning tundra forest into plain tundra would, but i guess our cities will probably never get big enough to feel the loss anyways.... and if we are whipping most of our ships and troops this game, then lighthouse coast is probably a better tile than tundra lumbermill anyways (if 1 food ~= 2 hammers in the whipping era, 2 food + 2 commerce > 1f + 2h + 1c). so yeah chopping is probably better.
lol sorry i never promised my dedlurker advice would be, like, USEFUL lmao would love to see more scouting screenies if you have any! has the turnpace been good so far? not sure if there are any continuing server-related technical glitches or anything
No worries on Dedlurker responsibilities lol. Other than Old Harry (who basically played 90% of the first 100t for me in pb48) everyone else that has dedlurked me has basically ghosted 25t in, or was gavagai and ghosted about the time i was wanting advice
Game is basically on pause atm while we hope/wait for Zulan to fix somethings.
