FoxBat Wrote:It's probably because you are a warrior.Yeah, unfortunately. Damage is nice, I can 1-hit kill using Butcher and Cleave is nice when I'm surrounded (which happens a lot) but in order to get the damage that high I need to use a 2h weapon, which attacks slow (my axe has an attack rating of Slothful, pretty appropriate imo). I tried 1h weapons that are faster, but it's like using D2's Zeal without Crushing Blow, the damage looks more like degen and it's nowhere near as powerful as a slower 2h. I'm trying out 2h swivel arm, which helps a little bit. The other problem is attack rating. I tend to miss a lot. I've been spending my points in 2str, 2/1agl, 1/2end or something like that but it doesn't really seem to help as most of the time I have to wait for Butcher. I might try 3/1/1 for a while. I would really like a self buff that adds to attack rating so I can hit stuff more regularly.
Unfortunately, that's an issue with just about every game like this and was just as much of an issue with Diablo. Warriors are easy to start but by the time you get into things the ranged attackers are dominant.
One oddity that I've noticed. I put Butcher on my left mouse click and it's fine when I'm normally walking around, but if I target a monster and left-click them, it'll activate the recharge on the skill - without using it - unless I'm standing right next to them, in which case it works the way it should.
