ilios, thanks for the micro plan.
i'm not sure it's worth delaying AH that long the sheep is our best tile & we'd working it unimproved for what, 50 turns?
also, i think at size 2 working 2/1/1 centre, 2/1/1 sheep, and 1/2/0 grass hill forest or 0/3/0 plains hill forest, we'd get a 25% bonus on a worker meaning it'd be done in 10 turns, not 12, right? (1 food bonus + 4 hammers x 25% bonus = 6/turn)
and if we do go Ag->Min->BW (which i'm really not sure is the way to go), why stop the capital at size 3; we can grow to size 4 in 6 turns working wheat + 2 river grasses.
my preferred path would be Ag->AH->Min->BW. we'd get that sheep pasture into play 20+ turns sooner, that's an extra 40+ food & 20+ commerce. the additional commerce from the pasture would cut the time to rsch mining+BW + we'd grow faster so maybe pick up additional commerce from riverside tiles earlier. AH would come in about the time the worker finishes farming the wheat. if we do end up settling in place (not 100% certain), i'll lobby very hard for AH after Ag
i think we need a bit more info about our surroundings to decide what makes most sense in terms of when to build the first settler etc, but it's worth noting - based on what we know right now, on the first turn - we'll be capped at size 4 until IW.
