Good question sunrise. #4 is okay but otherwise I'm afraid not.
#1 is right out, that is using groupthink to help your own game. #2 and #3 are both too spoilery for my comfort. Both could leak a large amount of information, in skipping potentially several dozen entries on your list until landing in virgin territory.
But I understand what you're trying to do in dodging the crowd to make for a more interesting report day. How about a modified version of #2. Send a sufficiently large list of combos and I'll assign one at random that has not yet been chosen. Then you don't know anything about the combos you didn't receive. All you know is that yours is unique to that point, which it may not even remain going forward. Sufficiently large would be on the order of 25 entries; you can easily get 28 by picking 8 wonders and taking each possible pair.
Would anyone object to that?
