I prefer the idea of 2 different blind maps simply so the other game's players can lurk the other.

Also, before we get to excited, do we know anyone who is willing to be the map maker. I think we may have to settle for one map for both games as two separate maps is a lot of work to ask someone to do.

2 games of 5 would work great! I wouldn't mind capping it at 5 apiece really... One thing we might consider on dividing up the games is if we have conflicting opinions on tech trading. I think I would prefer no tech trading (though I would still play with tech trading on), but this tends to be a really divided issue. We could consider having one game with it on, one with it off. They will be two totally different games, but it's just an idea for dividing it up. Players might want to indicate their tech trading preference as it's the most important option.

Also - anyone out there willing to make a map or two? Or two people each want to make one? I think we'd like two totally different maps just for fun's sake, but that's dependent on coaxing someone to make two or two people to each make one . Probably the best way is the way we've been doing it here in the past - someone makes a map, then posts it in a thread for other people to comment on. Multiple sets of eyes tend to help a lot with handling mistakes.

Personally I want to play no tech trading. Cuts out so much of the diplomacy...

I'd support some type of restriction on leaders as well in my game...such as the no fin/phi suggestion put forward earlier...or a CTON/AW game or something like that...may be getting a bit ahead of the curve here though!

If it has to be AW then I don't really want CTON but I'll go with anything that sounds logical
