I'm glad to see someone else got the luck I did with great engineers! I think I popped six of them in my game, and I didn't even get Fusion first.

That pyramids sure was nice. The first major structure I built in Paris was the pyramids, and the first I built in my second city was stonehenge.

Starting with stone makes for some good times!

Yep.

Believe it or not, I just took the first start it gave us. The fact that it was so much like the original Civ3 Epic One, with starting on a lake and having a Cows resource right there, was just fate winking at all of us.

There was no Stone in Civ3, of course. But am I remembering correctly in that there was Iron, Wheat, and Dyes nearby? (Gosh, that was more than three and a half years ago!)

Part Six, no tricks.

Bureaucratic Confusion has struck the ISP serving the warpcore. It's a new host, and someone there screwed up the bill and the account. Should be cleared up by Tuesday, I am told. Might possibly be a bit longer.

Obviously, while my host is down, you can't reach my site. First time in about four years, I think, that we've any outage.

I should have the rest of my Epic One report done by the time the server is back online.
