I assume ffa, since it is first time exploring expansion. Teams can be done at later PBEM's.

OK, and as far a city gifting goes, we are still allowed to cede back cities during peace deal right?

My suggestion is use giving and taking cities only when peace treaty is involved, that includes ceding back cities.

Ok, I truly enjoy playing with you guys, so I am not concerned with what rules we impose, just that I know what they are.

Looking forward to this game, I have not looked into any new stuff so this will be a real surprise.

I can make a map but it will be about 2 weeks (have to get the PB38 map buttoned up and shipped off first). Starting screenshots will not be available until the map is 95% ready.

I don't mind that, this way everyone can get a bit practice with new civilizations before real deal starts.

How do you guys want to handle picks?

Best way till now is roll and give every players 5 or 6 leaders and player pick one form it.

36 leaders now in total with Vanilla and all expansions/DLC. 6 players, that mean 6 leaders each player normally.
However with potential bans (Scythia?) , it possible that we are going down to 30 leaders, so 5 leaders for everyone to pick. (which mean leave out 5 other leaders with Tomyris of Scythia)

Now we got 9 new expansion leaders, divided over 6 players mean 3 players got 2 expansion leaders and another 3 just one.
A possible compensation for 3 players with just one expansion leader, 3 most recent DLC civilizations (Nubia, Khmer and Indonesia) shall be rolled for this group players.
Just a idea.

Alternative: snake pick, but based upon what?
