I'm ready to get going too. This should be a lot of fun.

The first 40 turns are good for knocking off rust and nervousness as you're basically fighting animals/barbs and dotmaps for the first month until you get the juices flowing.
Game started as I went to bed. Work in the morning. I'm almost done. Apparently I'm already holding up the turn.

And we're off! I agree with you on the initial decisions, they are all pretty simple ones. A second city by the sheep means no sharing food with the capital, but that will be alright.
Also, Krill and Superdeath did not settle on Turn 0. Krill settled on Turn 1, and Superdeath has yet to settle. However, Superdeath as also not played his turn yet, so he may still settle on Turn 1.

I wonder what Krill saw that made him move.

BTW I think we're going to be running out of land soon.

Land looks less promising. I hope there's seafood, because there doesn't seem to be much behind the fog.
![]() We're going to need to get off island pretty quick. Hunting>BW>Fishing>Pottery>Sailing>MC? That's what I'm thinking at the moment. Pottery before sailing for cottages and granaries a couple turns earlier. Then galley and settler for 4th city. I'm not sure on it yet, have to think about it a bit more and see the rest of the land, maybe we can get sailing fast enough for the 3rd city but I doubt it. In which case pottery before sailing is the right call. I want to blitz settlers 1 and 2 right after one another I think. Possibly chop first whip second. Depends though on the land north of the sheep. If we can see precious metals or pasture-able food that plan is a go. If we see only seafood or farm food, we might go sailing first and try to get the 3rd city on an island for earlier trade routes. MS if you want to go in the game the password is still sirian right now, I haven't changed it. What do you think about next scout moves? SW or N to tundra hill? I want to check the peninsula there, but maybe we should go north with the scout first, send the warrior over west after the worker. Worker will pasture pig first, then cow, then road pig? use road to get to PH NW of cap, mine that. Or move directly to PH to mine, which is 1t faster but we don't get a road down. I guess it depends on if we grow cap to 3 and if we whip off 3 immediately and don't work the PHmine. I'll do some sims when we're closer.
