Do we want to resort to spear spam? Its probably the best option.. but seems a tad boring. Suppose if they dont do spear spam in return, and produce something big we can counter that with Sigrid. I can go along with a wagon/spear and then spear flood if you want. Also something to keep note of, if we keep alot of gold handy, we could kill alot with a pair of witches down the road as well, that hex has a nice range and cost isnt too bad.

Spear spam will def. be viable, if not optimal, due to the map essentially being divided into three chokepoints in the middle. Beyond that though I'd recommend trying to produce as many units as possible each turn; even producing a pair of Infantry while saving up for something powerful at least puts a couple meatshields on the board. If you've got 500 gold I think it'd therefore be better spent on a cheap frontline unit from your forward base, and then something in the back, and a Wagon lets you shuttle one of your (or my!) backline units to the front every other turn. You could alternatively produce two Dogs... I'm not very good with them, but they can deal some nasty damage if you position them right.
Your call though, I'm no expert at this game.
Oh, one other thing about Wagons... IIRC, they're one of very few units which cannot be one-shot by any non-critical attack, even by Dragons, so they're decent as emergency armor for a structure, CO, etc. in a pinch. Not that that's typically a great use for them. Oh, and speaking of blocking units, a Harpy could block the entrance to the center fortress to anything that can't attack air units; that said, it'd be pretty easy for scooter to shuttle over a Mage or something.

One other option- if your backlines barracks produces an Infantry to its south, and I produce a 2nd wagon to my barrack's north, you could load your Infantry on the subsequent turn and I could run it to the center or to help reinforce the southern front. That does leave us low on hitters, but I would like to get two Wagons out at some point anyway, so that I can always be shuttling a Spear forward.

Lets go with that. ill create a spear in my new barracks, and a infantry in my backlines barracks and we can load it up and ship it wherever. I think, we can honestly work it out like this, since my commanders groove is kicking little shit's ass's.. and a bunch of them.. ill spear spam for now, and then save for golem after golem, if they respond with more spear spam.. GREAT! Likewise, on your side.. i think the early investment into wagons will really help out against Scooter's more defensive groove. And your groove will destroy any major golem/dragon play he might do using his groove to keep them safe. Im still expecting their crystal to be put in the center, and that they will likely resort to spear spam straightaway. Which is fine, as our early wagon + treb combo is by far the better play here. I really like our chances.

All good, gives me more time to think of how to stop them from wrecking our shit with that knight.

I'll have 1,000 gold next turn; final builds are contingent on what Team 2 does, but I'm thinking a Wagon in my back barracks, as discussed, an Infantry in my front barracks, and a Vampire from my tower.

Well, i just played and CH played literally right after. We have some issues. First off, CH positioned his knight to either go in the center, or threaten to attack the north. CH also built a archer, and his commander will be able to pop his groove and take the center top town. If he goes north with the knight, and the archer ( dont know if he will ) I will likely need a spear or two to add to my spear spam ill be using out of my north barracks. My back-lines barracks might need to pop a knight, or i could pop a harpy from the tower. Thoughts?
Marked on this map is where i need the treb to move to, so dont block it with the wagon(s) if u can. Ill try and mark some other ideas/troop movements that id like opinions on.. but be aware my artistic skills are worse than my civ skill
ive created a swordsman from my backlines barracks, if ur still wanting to create another wagon. If so, ill hop in it on my next turn, if not i will just charge it forward. I think so long as we can keep the treb alive, it will spell doom for any forward advancement thru the center. Then we can focus on blocking and dominating the north/south.
