Well, EGYPT has a lot of sand. I`m very confident about that one.

Superdeath regularly plays Civ 4 where making a SANDBOX can be quite important to keep up in the early game.

Is sand some kind of COMPOUND?
I can also see a sand BAR.
Walking on sand can make you SLIP.

To sum up, I`d go EGYPT - BOX and then discuss the third word.

Well, that was fortunate. For Phantom, GHOST is the obvious choice. My next two guesses would be DEATH and AIR, but I feel like I'm missing something here. Maybe THEATER or SCREEN referring to The Phantom of old, but I think he was more of a radio character.
