The copper's not in Baskerville's BFC.

I disagree with both city signs up north.
I have to run.

Yeah we uh, don't have much military lol. We're getting some now though - we teched archery just so we could do it cost-effectively. Losing a couple units at bad odds was pretty unfortunate.

Yep, what novice said.

Yeah I actually do too. We hadn't discussed those yet at all. 1 south of the southern-most signs allows us to share the Baskerville fish if need be, and also allows us to settle a second city to share the clams. The southern sign makes it so no other cities can use those two seafood which is a big mistake on a starving island like that one.

Ok 2 hours had gone by, so I went ahead and played the next turn. Not much to do - our workers have NOTHING to do. Anyways, this city will need to be adjusted next turn:

In short, we don't need the WB to complete next turn because it'll just sit on the seafood. So we have the option of working the cottage for a couple turns and letting SoF use the stone to speed the settler. Then after probably 3ish turns we'd need to swap back to the stone. This city needs a Trading Post pronto. We need to think this over - whether a granary or Trading Post is more important. I'm leaning towards Trading Post actually. We'll chat this through sometime soon hopefully if you've got time. Demos continue to be pretty hard to infer anything:

Half of me says we're doing terrible, half says we're doing amazing. The truth is somewhere in between probably. Honestly though, with our crap start and crap traits, I'm extremely happy about where we are, but I'm terrified at whoever is running around with that 108 food figure. Given Krill's score (massive population) that has to be him. Sigh. Currency is a very slow tech at the moment, but that will change pretty quickly as science will balloon in the next 25 turns as we'll get a Library up in a couple cities soon, combined with Colossus finishing soon and picking up an IC route or two. The race for Berserkers is on. hammer

T94 is in, aaaaand:

Very pretty smile. Yep, if you look past those annoying tile yields you'll see Colossus, Oracle, and Pyramids. You will not see a granary no matter how hard you squint lol. In the city:

I set it to a granary, but I'm second-guessing that right now. Honestly, how much will the granary really help at this point since we don't want to whip the city anytime soon? Library or Trading Post seems more valuable right? Would like to hear your input on this. Running through the other cities in no real order:

No use for WB quite yet, so I swapped to the cottage temporarily. I would use coast if we had a Trading Post here. The stone meanwhile goes to SoF to speed the settler by a turn:

Pretty sure this is the right call here. Also, coast over cottages is probably worthwhile here, depending on how close those are to leveling up. Once the settler finishes we'll probably want to get off the mines and stone and grow a bit. Made a choice at Baskervilles here:

Here's the thing here. Getting off the grass mine for coast speeds growth up by a turn but slow galley by a turn. However, the galley would just be sitting for a couple turns, so no big deal right? Thing is though - the city will grow into unhappiness soon so I'm considering swapping back to the grass hill and then starting a settler next turn before it grows. What do you think about that? Actually, nevermind, I'm going to login after posting this and swap back to the hill and go ahead with that plan to build a settler before size 6. Finally, demos:

More of the same - stellar in GNP, mediocre in most other metrics, and LOL in land area + soldiers. Wait, we are AHEAD of somebody in soldiers?!?! I'm kinda confused actually - not sure how that's possible.

Adjusted situation at Baskervilles:

Would still like input on Scarlet especially. My feeling says swap to Library instead of Granary.

Surely there's a law against halting growth due to lack of MP.
I have to run.

Bingo.

I somehow knew I would be wrong yet I posted anyway. The southern city can use the copper but clearly better to grow first to use it with the clams.
