[Spoilers] Fintourist and Old Harry have nothing to see here

Very nice report! thumbsup Actually the trade-off concerning avoid growth is +5 food vs. 2 commerce + cottage turn, because we would get the other 5 food in any case. But that's still a good trade anyways! smile

I think EOT55 Stonehenge is pretty normal. If Serdoa does not have stone he probably has sacrificed some expansion speed, but nothing too dramatic, I guess.

Next turn E-E with the scout, or only E? Or do you want to try and sit on the pigs? devil

It looks slightly more promising! crazyeye Especially because we have now also two granaries in place to speed up our future growth. However, it also looks only promising in the sense that we are not falling too far behind, not like we are going to lead this game during the next 100 turns.. smoke

Btw, I haven't paid enough attention on civstats, who are the fastest 3? Lewwyn and Azza and somebody?

Yep, don't really understand avoid growth still... crazyeye

I don't think costing m_h 5 food is worth the risk, so EE for the scout sounds good. Although he probably won't get a two tile move the turn after unless we go SS.

Serdoa beat us to a third city, hopefully we'll beat him to the fourth. Ichabandit joined Lewger and Azza on four cities last turn.

I did the city micro and finished a mine, but left everything else for you wink

Turn 58

Don't trust me with the micro eh? That's pretty fair... Dunkirk is founded and starts a barracks (why not a granary? Because the cheap barracks gets us the cows quick and allows us to maths-chop the expensive granary...) By the way everyone, we still don't have a great military disaster beginning with E. If we can't come up with one then I'm afraid we're stuck at four cities...

The warrior is going to sit in between A & D in case of emergencies. Although he could go get some XP off that panther and explore to the south of the cows? Cannae grows this turn.

Lunch nearly ran into an m_h warrior, so rather than sit on the trees we should move him SE onto the grassland (hoping m_h has killed all the wildlife around here) I didn't end turn yet in case you don't like that idea.

Endor? tongue I don't know; having trouble thinking of one. I'm sure there's an incredibly obvious one I'm overlooking. Wikipedia says the battle of the Ebro did not go well for the Republicans.

Edit: More from Wikipedia: Eurymedon (Wars of the Delian League), Evesham (Second Barons' War). I don't know, the list of E-battles doesn't seem that compelling. I'm trying to think of some smaller engagements from the First or Second World Wars that might fit.

I like Endor! That was about as crushing as defeats come...

Can we have Eurymedon if we've already got Cannae?

Different Eurymedon. Not that I know anything about either battle save what Wikipedia told me. But it should be fair game.

I like Endor better, though. wink

I trust your micro lol I just wanted to play a bit, but still leave you the honor of founding Dunkirk crazyeye

Scout move is fine! please

Yeah, that warrior must stay close to capital so that it can act as a temporary military police when our capital grows into unhappiness. Unless of course it's needed to defend Dunkirk on that one particular turn..

Scout moved safely:

next turn could be SE-SE or SE-S. I prefer the latter for safety...

Feel free to decide! After that let's continue towards E/NE!
