Ideally try other races too. Trolls are generally not an end game city. Something like, what, 70% of games will be dark elves and draconian?

And while it doesn't seem like it, war mammoths are actually very good targets to fight with demon lords - they have a TON of health so the demon Lord can keep stealing from them, but they can't attack the demon Lord, so the first strike means means nothing, and they don't do enough damage to ever risk killing the demon Lord unless it's already badly damaged.

However, I am surprised that auto demon lords do that well against those defenders.

Unfortunately this enemy does not have other races and it's the only save I have available. To try other races I'll need to create another save file and let the AI develop the cities alone, that would take hours.

*shrug* just trying to avoid the problem of only using 1 game as a test. Trolls are generally weak against fliers, and on myrror, they've got relatively bad resistance. Not sure they're any worse than beastman would be though. But that's one of the reasons they aren't chosen as late game cities if possible.

Anyone else have some save files with the enemy into very rare research lying around we can insert demon lords into?

Weakness doesn't seem to work on ranged magic attacks, is it intended? I wouldn't see why it shouldn't work.

Yes, it's intended. Being physically weak has no effect on magic attack.

Bug report. Drain power doesn't seem to work properly, it removes mana from the target but it doesn't add it to the player.

It should add it as SP, not MP as the description says. In other words you don't get mana, you get a higher casting skill, as if you spent that mana on raising it.

If I cast wrack with a hero, with spell save items, will that penalty apply every round to wrack? *if so, I think we just found how wrack is brutally overpowered in the hands of an invisible hero....*

No it doesn't. Ah well.

My death, with a hint of sorcery, game (channeler, halflings on master) ended with invisibility being the winner. No wrack needed, just combat presence and drain/syphon life (with black prayer of course). Myrran was sorcery with 1 life - luckily true sight was not the uncommon. And invisibility of course comes with night stalker (and myrran had dark elves, so undead nightblades!).
