Ok, so I've made the planned move and I'll be overflowing Sloth into a worker. Acedia willl whip an axe anyway and Envy will finish the galley.
To protect Lust, I've made the following move:
Barbs weren't showing in that direction, so we can feel a bit more safe against Sunrise.
I don't think we need to whip Sloth next turn, because I'm finishing a riverside cottage to be worked instead of the lake. The lake was just for one turn, since I borrowed the corn to Acedia. We can definetely go worker -> worker in the capital. But then we can go settler. Why?
Because I think wroth can build the spy we need. It'll finish a Skirm soon, then we can make an axe and then a spy. or first spy, than axe. If the city get a chop, though, i'll probably invest it into a worker. It wouldn't take long:
A spy will greatly help against Sunrise, since every city centre we explore will give us vision in every 2 tiles away from the city center, like we have with the capital.
I'll whip Acedia when it reaches size 4. Then I'll chop a tree into the Moai, finishing it. Then I won't whip it anymore. Better to grow the city borrowing the corn. Later when the capital gets the corn again, we can just stagnate at all the 2/1/3 coast tiles.

The road was to make our acess to the sugar and rice easier when the borders pop. Sunrise can only use neutral roads, though, so we don't need to worry with that.

And just so I don't end the day without a joke, let me tell something that a friend of mine did that reminds me of this Pitboss.
It was the first day of school (we were on the second year of high school, if I'm making the conversion right). In my school, every class got a sort of responsible teacher, the one who took care of things like talking to the parents, giving the report cards and so on (he was also the teacher of one of the many subjects we had).
So, the responsible teacher of his class was doing his initial lecture for the year, talking about how things would work, what he expected from us and things like that. After he was finished, he asked if someone had a question.
My friend raised his hand and asked:
"How long until the winter vacations?"
Well, the teacher wansn't very happy and that wasn't the best of the school years to my friend.
So, what does this story has to do with Pitboss 7?
Because I'm constantly holding myself from posting in the Diplo Thread: "How long until any of you win this damn game?"
Nah, I'm having fun!

This is late but was Acedia your best choice for a Moai city? Seems to only have like 6 coastal tiles...

It isn't a text book Moai City, I agree. But we don't have any other decent place to put it, nor do we plan to settle another coastal city soon. Maybe we could have done it in Greed, but that city is far away and could easily be destroyed.
So we were looking at the prospect of simply not building the Moai for a long, long time. So we decided just to build it in Acedia (that can build it quickly) and be done with it. Unfortunately, this map hasn't given us a single tile island, all surrounded by coast with 2 fishes like we see in many hand-made maps. But such is life...
Now that you say it, though, it indeed is a bad spot. Thing is, it's as bad, if not worst than the others.

That's fair enough. I just wanted to bring some attention, though as I said it's very late.
Also, on an unrelated note, I've been following this game closely, and while I am sorry you don't enjoy it as much, I really do ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) I hope you keep going and you do good so that you hopefully you'll start having fun again. I think you are in a reasonable position fwiw.

Are you planning to direct them to settlements in the north or west? I really don't want any cultural wars in the land we so graciously divided, right? I don't want to invest that many hammers on cultural buildings...
The cryptic communication continues... I'll soon explain why...
