WW29: Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

I agree that was a bad post by Meiz. He does need to paint all three of the nonconfirmed as scum if he's going to win.

The timing about Meiz' vote for me yesterday does also fit with trying to keep Serdoa alive. (Not that Serdoa needed immediate saving, but Meiz did need to vote for someone, and generate discussion about other suspects.) As noted, the thing that doesn't quite fit in my mind is that Serdoa listed him as his #2 suspect. Overconfidence, perhaps. Like I said, things were looking very good for scum at that time if it's not Goreripper.

Look, Meiz, a developing case! wink

Previewing: And that latest post just smacks of resignation.
If you know what I mean.

You're all GD scum.

Looking at novice through wolf glasses. Votes are:

3 votes: Serdoa (novice, Goreripper, Jkaen)
3 votes: zakalwe (MJW (ya that one), Lewwyn, Meiz)
1 votes: GoreRipper (Jowy)
1 votes: Novice (zakalwe)

Novice votes GoreRipper, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid431101

"My Goreripper vote is mostly a placeholder at this point. I like his responses so my only concern really is that he may be buddying me.

I don't know who to vote though. I sort of share Mattimeo's impulse to lynch MJW despite meta indicating his innocense.

Lewwyn (and Zak wrt Jkaen): What makes you lean town on Jowy and Jkaen? Is it "crackpot theories are crackpot" like Mattimeo says?"

"Yes, in the sense that I don't know where to put my vote.

I'm debating voting Serdoa or Jowy. I guess Mattimeo works too but if anybody's the "patsy" it's surely him."

But then decides to vote MJW, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid431428

Serdoa puts novice nicely in the middle of his lynch preferences, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid431461
Jkaen -> Meiz -> Jowy / Goreripper -> Mattimeo / novice -> MJW / zakalwe / Lewwyn

I don't think Serdoa talked about novice at all, except putting him nicely in the middle of his lynch preferences.

I think it's telling that novice decided to ignore the events of the end day while voting me. And god damn you Zak.

To be entirely honest, I dislike how the MJW mod-kill effectively gave us two lynches today, given how he was a frontrunner at the time. I'm not sure of a better way to handle it, though; I'm sure there'd've been complaints if it'd been counted as today's lynch. I'd say scum would be entirely justified if they felt hard done by, though, especially given how the set-up was town favoured to begin with.

I do hope the roleblocker is capable of both killing and blocking. Would be ludicrous otherwise, even given the almost guaranteed loss as is.

This does feel like a townish reaction. lol

I also empathize with this. smile

If we can't win this we should hang our heads in shame.

Goreripper, your turn to say something scummy.

I agree with this. Under the circumstances, Brick could have gone to night after the modkill and I wouldn't have complained.

The scum role PM does state that scum can roleblock and kill at the same time.
I have to run.

Meiz and Novice: All three of us independently thought it had to be Lewwyn after day 1. Goreripper just asked us to convince him. What do you make of that?

Meiz, Novice said "the signs are everywhere". Remember that post? That's pretty well faked if it's him, given that it mirrored my own feelings. It's not easy to genuinely see things from a town perspective.
