Can I read the engineering drawings enough to know if the drag marks on the beach could match it?
Seems like they *could* match. Hard to tell in scale.

'I killed the dwarf,' says Niall to Kile's story. 'And I speak Dwarven.' He looks over the notes. 'The lake cavern may be completely submerged by now, and we need rest. Perhaps we should return to investigate further.'

Very well, maybe we should come back tomorrow

Niall takes a look at the papers.

It's hard to make out the poetry or ravings or whatever the free-form words are; the dwarf was apparently devoted to some god of the sea named the Outsider, or at least so he claimed. The Son of the Outsider, as he called himself, heard voices in his dreams. Whatever the truth of his claims about the voices in his head, the dwarf had been a marvelous tinker and engineer; his designs for what he called a "submersible" are brilliant and thorough.

The dwarf appears to have grown increasingly enraged by the "desecration" of ship traffic upon the Outsider's domain, and so hit upon a plan to start sinking ships using his submersible. With a much less devout man named Raskin, the Outsider's Son took over this lonely cave network and began to prey upon ships. He also kept as a pet or idol a massive and twisted nautilus in the underground lake, feeding it goats and prisoners as an act of propitiation to his god.

There are also a few side notes about some contact that Raskin had south in the port of Mingo Bay, some smuggler who was clearing the salvaged cargo...

Niall reads the notes aloud. 'This all seems rather far-fetched. I should like to see this "submersible" for myself. Do you think Raskin was one of the ones we killed earlier, or was he down the other passage and left before the tide came in?'

Also, what happened to the unconscious guard we left here?

The unconscious guard is still out; without more medical attention and a less harsh environment he will die. Sans magic, he may die anyway.

Anyone got any new theories around the number chest?
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

I'm torn really. It would be a shame if that Raskin fellow got away but I'd like to go back to the village to rest and heal. Also we lost sight of the weird watcher dude which is bad news

Lets head back to the village and consider our next move, we can tie up the guard here and see if he survives the journey for more questionning, heal up and see if anybody there is able to crack the code on this chest

So to be clear, you all head back up the shaft toward the elevator, helping along Kile and dragging the unconscious guard?
