WW8: Madness in Outer Space (game thread - players only)

I do believe you went out and had a drink (lies tend to be concealed in truth), but I know for a fact that you were making typos deliberately (I'll reveal why after the game). If you stick with your story that it was all authentic, I have to wonder what else you're lying about.

I don't think we're getting any further with this, and I don't have anymore arguments for why others should vote for you rather than another candidate. If someone wants to put me on the lynch block I have about another 30 minutes to defend myself, going to bed after that.

Expanding a little on my last post, I don't think your claim of playing erratically to avoid a night kill is credible. We had an established villager who was being helpful (novice). You commented on this fact in an earlier post, so you were aware of it. If you were a villager, I figured the fake typos were made in order to expand on this strategy of misinformation. I might be inclined to see you as a misguided villager if you owned up to that. I can only interpret your unwillingness to do so as a scum's fear of being caught lying. On that note, I'm off to bed. Hang me while I sleep if you feel it's a good decision, won't make a difference if I'm awake or not. To me, the evidence is clear.

By the by Uber, Novice I could be persuaded to vote for Rowain. Depends on what you think of my earlier thought process and whether you think Catwalk is scum or not. If neither of you are convinced about Catwalk then it would be suicide for the village to split our votes given we need all 4 villagers to vote as a block.

Of course you could be persuaded. I think you would vote for anyone except yourself and your scum-partner.

Scratch that, my wife just made an executive decision that we're watching a British crime show for the next hour or so. Lewwyn, why do you think I should vote for Rowain? I'm still most likely going to vote for you, but I don't mind hearing you out on Rowain.

What fakery dude? I mean I went back and looked and yeah when I was typing I was channeling my inner gangster from Diplomacy. That stuff just comes out and I play with the language, it just has a lot more errors when I'm drunk then when I'm actually writing it for a purpose. I swear to God that I wasn't faking it. Its not even relevant to the game. I just wanted to talk and have fun at the time. There was no intent behind getting drunk and posting.

These last 2 pages are giving me a headache tbh.

For a start I don't see why scum can't have a vigilante. A scum vigilante finishing off a target wounded as a result of protection would basically be claiming scum, after all.

Catwalk is right that the "protect with damage" mechanic makes little sense if scum can't interact with it somehow. Which means there pretty much HAS to be either a scum vigilante or scum healer. I don't think Zakalwe would put this in as a total red herring.

so I see the plausible possibilities being:

2 town vigilantes, scum healer (probably Rowain, maybe Catwalk or Lewwyn if they lied)
1 town vigilante, 1 scum vigilante (Sareln)
2 town vigilante, 1 scum vigilante (Catwalk or Lewwyn)

... and that covers everyone except Novice and myself I suppose. Sigh. So much for being able to use process of elimination.

And that 2 town/1 scum vigilante scenario is the reason I thought Sareln kicking anyone was a scummy idea. Maybe Lewwyn is scum vigilante since he kept arguing that scum couldn't possibly have that role? But then why would he volunteer to get kicked by Sareln? That doesn't make sense.

Lewwyn, the post you made about pairings was excellent. (Oh and scum get lonely too, you know wink)

Catwalk just makes so many claims, with regards to who's who and what's what. A lot of it doesn't make sense but still it seems like very risky scum play.

The only abilities I can make fit into a scum player are Rowain's and Uber's. But we have no confirmation on Catwalk's nor Lewwyn's abilities, they could be pure fantasy for all we know.

I'm kind of liking it out on my limb - let's lynch Rowain and reevaluate. * takes out saw *

Fake edit: Yeah I recognized Lewwyn's diplomacy gangsta style in his drunken posts.
I have to run.
