I can't log in and haven't been able to for a few hours. just times out. have had no problems before now. any ideas?

Just a quick heads up - I am travelling again for this week.

However, this time I have my shiny new Surface Pro with me, which can easily run Civ IV, and I'll be in a hotel with wifi, with my iphone hotspot as a backup. Shouldn't be any problems, but my firewall settings might change causing people to bounce off me etc. Apologies in advance.

Hey all - please pause the game for me. I couldn't play earlier in the day because of a turn split, and I was called in to work this evening. I thought I might sneak a bit of break time to play the turn but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I can't promise the turn will roll for another 12h, though I will do my best. My apologies.
