I can't really see much we can do here. I imagine we don't have nearly enough diplomatic sway to cause him to give us the city(especially at this stage). And he clearly has enough forces to take it. Just another kick in the teeth for the Luchuirp I guess.

As uberfish already had told me, Ilios took the city and culture-bombed it.



Dammit! However I will go on with the plan of settling 1W of the northern sugar. It's gonna have some border fighting with Ilios's city, but he's not creative anymore, and he only culture bombed it to expand its borders, so it should still be 0 culture per turn, and no religion in it yet.

I will chop out a monument and a sculptor's studio in my city, which should help it take some tiles. It's still a good city with lots of grassland river and bananas and stuff.

Really sucks that I missed out on that city though. I've now only got three sites left to settle. This one, the one W of Mutanbo, and one E of Ithralia. Can't believe Amelia, Serdoa and Darrel managed to butcher their assault of Ilios so badly.

And yeah the reason i'm not putting it 2W of the northern sugar is because I want it on the river for health. Unless you don't think it matters, Selrahc?

Given the massive amount of Jungle surrounding it? I'd say the river bonus is going to be handy.

Uberfish has contacted Mist and is worried about Ilios. The dogpile on Ilios failed catastrophically, and Uberfish thinks that Ilios has cut a deal with Amelia and Serdoa, but he has no proof. This makes Uberfish think Ilios will attack me, so Uberfish either wants me and mist to make peace, or he wants to help Mist attack and kill me. Now the second won't happen since Mist and I have an agreement. That wouldn't stop Uberfish from attacking me of course, but he wouldn't get any help from Mist. Apparently Uberfish will have Ritualists soon.

I don't want official peace yet, but if that's what is needed to make Uberfish not attack me, then i'll take it. But for now I told Mist that i'd like to keep our ruse going. Also I have a NAP with Ilios until turn 130, which is 20 more turns or so. So if Ilios is planning to attack me I still have a while longer.

small update:



Mutanbo starting on a settler. Ithralia finishing up on a mud golem, and will then also create a settler. Will first settle the jungle spot west of the old barb city, and then either east of Ithralia or the spot west of Mutanbo that I agreed upon with Mist.

Cotton Valley is finally almost finished with its sculptor's studio. Market and then courthouse for it, probably. Tia'ran is finishing courthouse, after that i'm not sure. Maybe a Mud Golem. Warfare done soon, after that it's a 1t exploration, then onto engineering through writing and maths. I'm thinking about maybe grabbing mysticism first for elder councils. Should've gotten it a long time ago but I never had time.
