I haven't simmed it but we can build a fourth worker quickly in BM at size 2 working copper and cows. 3 food and 8*1.25 hammers per turn. So there's an opportunity cost in delaying growth.

Why build a warrior in Caip? BM needs to grow, so it can supply us with units.

Just to be clear, the idea is to chop out that fourth worker in a single turn, while working the bronze mine, and then grow on the improved sheep. So we delay growth by one turn, but we would always have to do that, if we want a fourth worker right now.

Another option which would avoid working unimproved tiles is to work the bronze hill for two turns, and then grow on the improved sheep. Not sure if that can be justified, but it would let us get another axe with just one chop.
If you know what I mean.

Ah, ok, chopping two forests this turn for a fourth worker, and then using all four to pasture the sheep next turn. Yeah, I like that.

We should run max tax this turn so it doesn't matter that much if we choose hunting or pottery.

Just a stab at a dotmap, to kick off discussion. I have no idea if this is what I favour.

Main problem with C is lack of forests. I didn't draw borders for the filler J, K, and L, and I wouldn't bother settling L. That leaves a few tiles unworked, marked with grey x's. H is technically in breach of our border agreement, an alternative is 2N1E on the north side of the lake.

Option 2 based on Zakalwe's suggested spot.

Next turn seems pretty clear. We'll chop out another Fast worker. There is no need to move any of our military units. We'll continue settler in capital.

I've already set the science slider to 0%.

Tech to Pottery.

Here's another idea, aiming more aggressively to steal their gold.

I think we mainly need the positioning of our next city. I don't care much, if it doesn't fit well to dot maps. Main focus should be on claiming land from TEAM. Therefore I like most the hill 1E from cows, hill 1S copper and hill 1S from horses.

I'd prefer something closer to us, like 1S or 3W of the corn. It'll be easier to defend, we'll save on maintenance, and there's nothing we desperately need up there.
