[SPOILERS] Welcome to the Kuro Corporation! (Kuro and BaII)

You are correct sir.

I would even whip the granary now since you only have one good tile to work and start the lighthouse.

I'm going to whip the Granary when Monarchy comes in.

Alright, bon voyage! I'll be playing the turn now...

Despite what I said last, I totally forgot: I whipped Horace Dodge's Granary last turn, so it just came in. Turn report soon-y.

Another basic turn but, uh, I sort of fell asleep while writing the report, then only woke up now...and obviously at 4AM I am not staying up long to write up a report.

So I'll just post some relevant stuff. Thinking I might as well just post a diplomatic state when Monarchy comes in since that tech means a lot.

Here is WilliamLP's borders.

Fred Wolsely, you can see why it wants a Monument. Ignore that it is working the Grassland and not the Lake: I just accidentally clicked it while going to the city screen and quickly put it back on the lake after snapping this screenie.

Hindu Missionary completed in Vanderbilt, which starts right on another Hindu Missionary.

Wolseley looks like it is screwed.

I wasn't considering such a quick attack from BoldXenuBrick of all people: It seemed like more of a fringe city for them. It's highly doubtful it won't die next turn, given there isn't much of another reason to land 2 Chariots, but I should be able to refound Wolseley in 5T or so, so hopefully he hasn't timed a Settler to get there faster. And I'll fill this next one with a Spear and then an Axe. Wanted to get a Spear in here before, but there was just other stuff goin' on...

I wonder what would have happened if I'd put a Spear in Wolseley?

Scouting proceeding nicely of WilliamLP's lands.

Revolted to Monarchy. Next up: Mathematics -> Currency!

I'm not really sure what to add on the "Looking at opponents" front now that I actually tried to do it. We've fallen behind in cities a little, since our research sucks, and losing The Great Lighthouse really does look like it will be the end of our game (We'd have +2 commerce, two +1 domestic routes, at least from each city, which would easily boost us into a much higher GNP range, as we'd be getting 14 extra commerce from TRs just with that and w/o Wolseley, and if every single one got to foreign or 2 anyhow, we'd be pulling in a great 28 commerce, which I believe puts us around T5). We're tied with BoldXenuBrick (Until Wolseley dies), are tied with Azza (But the time he founded them means our cities massively outclass his), are 2 cities ahead of wetbandit, are 2 cities behind WilliamLP (He's been expanding a good deal lately) and of course TGL-fueled Retep has 4 more cities than us.

Demographics. I am not sure what the optimal tech path is for a cultural victory. Something like Mathematics -> Currency -> Code of laws, go up to Music, Feudalism + Construction, turn on the slider?

You took Wolseley from the barbs, right? If so, its not going to raze unless they decide to raze it. A city only auto-razes if it has never been size 2, but if that was the case it would have auto-razed when you captured it.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Wolseley was founded, Chevrolet was taken from the barbarians.

And at that moment he did look upon his empire and declare "I am a dumbass"

What sucks is that I had just whipped Chevrolet for a Settler to get a city for Horses, forgetting that the Galley could move to attack Chevrolet!

It'll be 2 Axes, one injured, on a hill, versus 2 Chariots, one of which is at half health, AND is attacking from a boat. It'll be a close battle for him. But I need to get my other Axe into the city (It moved off it to protect that Worker from the Barb Warrior!), so...gotta camp the timer to make sure the axe gets in. Probably a bit lame to timer camp, but it is that or the city.
