I was thinking that we should send it NE to explore more of AI/REM's land, however we know that he has Galleys in the water and I think if we did that we'd lose the WB. We have one past him already though, so I think the best thing is to bring it back along the South of the Island and then we can use it at Rhodes.
I rolled the turn last night and then logged out without playing the new turn, which is suspicious (at least I find it so when others do it). The same could well happen at the end of the current turn, which would be even more suspicious. It would be good if you could log in for a while so it looks more like we're collaborating and less like we're observing a turn split.
Since AI/REM (and dtay) have both played, you could go ahead with the turn which would then probably roll this afternoon (my time); dtay & AI/REM are pretty prompt players, so by the time my play window arrive it will probably be natural for me to play.
Also, I don't understand this map trading diplo that's going on - particularly with plako closing borders when we wouldn't trade him our maps. Personally, I'd be more comfortable with someone who refuses to trade maps having knowledge of my terrain than someone who will trade maps to anyone. After all, if I'll trade maps with you, I'll probably then trade it to your neighbour as well! I'd happily trade with plako as long as he doesn't trade with dtay or Commodore, but there's no way to say that with the uber-restrictive diplo rules - which is why I don't understand people being willing to trade maps in the first place.
<sigh> well I'll put a pin in that and save it for the post-game discussion.
