warfare researched and exploration completes EOT, a 1t tech
i forgot to revolt to military state though, will do so next turn.
Thinking if I should grab sanitation before going writing->math->engineering. Sanitation would really help my cities grow more, which they desperately need to do if they are to catch up to other civs cities. But I don't want to miss out on the Guild of Hammers. No one has trade yet so I can't check what techs anyone has. I'm guessing Ilios and Uberfish and the others should be close to trade though.

well I decided to go for Writing instead, done in 4 turns. Sanitation is a 6t tech. Settlers done in 5 and 7 turns.

I'd grab exploration sometime soon. It's post T100 and we don't have roads yet... That is an odd situation.
With Golems replacing Dwarves as the standard military forces, we won't be able to use the hill highway any more.

man i've really started slacking with the updates, haven't I? I feel bad
so here's a diplo message i got from ilios:
Ilios Wrote:Hey there,
How are things with the Luchuirp?
Uberfish has just finished the Great Library, and I have a feeling he will be approaching you soon about your source of Marble.
Do you think you could do me a favor and let me know before agreeing to a loan?
Regards,
Ilios
PS Could you keep this confidential?
Cough. I replied that sure I could tell him, but that he would definitely have to offer something better in return for me to not trade away my marble.
Uberfish is definitely looking scary though. His GNP is soaring up, his production is highest in the game, only his food is a bit low, but that's not so weird because of his cottage economy compared to an aristocracy one. Plus Mist's message about Uberfish maybe attacking me.
Speaking of that, Ashen Veil was founded a turn ago or so. First I thought it had to be the Calabim who I still don't have contact with, but it might be Uberfish since Mist mentioned that Uberfish had said that he would get Ritualists soon.

It honestly sounds like with the Uberfish-Ilios situation that you're between a rock and a hard place. I'd say Uberfish is the more likely to attack you, overall. Not sure what you can do other than continuing the trek to Gargoyles and Blasting Workshops.
Does Uberfish have water mana? We should get an adept ready to burn down his forests if bad things happen.

Not sure, will check next turn.
But yeah I'm wedged between the two strongest nations in the game. I've been friendly with Ilios, but that doesn't mean he won't attack me when our NAP run out on t130. And Uberfish only has me or the Calabim to attack really if he wants to. Need to look out for his power spiking.

Revolted to Military State, which took me from -1 gpt at 80% to +4 gpt, so that's pretty good. Can start building a new army now too, which I really need since Uberfish's power HAS started to spike, which is worrying me. I moved my two WGs and catapult towards Cotton Valley just in case. Settlers done in 3 and 5 turns. If Uberfish does attack me I'm gonna have two fronts, one at Cotton Valley, and one at my soon to be settled jungle city.
power graph:
When the settlers are done in Mutanbo and Ithralia I'm gonna have to start churning out WGs and catapults. I'm thinking that Uberfish probably was the one who founded AV, so he will have ritualists, which sucks. Do they get the bonus fire damage against WGs?
I think i'm gonna dial up Ilios for an extension of a NAP. It's not like I would be able to attack him anyways, and it would feel good with some safety.

Ring of Fire will do more damage, but still has the same cap.
He can't have ritualists until he converts. Best he can do before that is to build savants in preparation for an upgrade.

After engineering maybe I should get a religion real quick before going to sorcery. For some extra gold from RoK or culture from OO (helps me in culture war vs Ilios in the east and south). I won't get priests any time soon, but every little bit helps.
