Playing as Rome now and the Patch has updated my game (just for info). I do hope we do not have any game breaking changes again.

Ok I say it now. I think I concede this game. It doesn't matter that I have sunk 4 times as many ships as England but the Arsenal will simply negate anything. This wonder has to be perma banned. I will not be so stupid to participate in any game where it is not banned. Now add to this that Rome and China had a civic edge over the rest but could not make use of corps as nationalism was broken. No corps and fleets are a big impact. That would not be an issue as everyone is affected. However today's patch has rectified it and now all others have access to corps and fleets way earlier making that civic edge we had a travesty. This is all nobodys fault but I admit I am worn out and pretty much fed up. Everyone here played excellent. Truly a match with very capable players. Thanks for that opportunity

By the way, if you guys want to soldier on, I will gladly play along. I am not going to be the party pooper here. We all have put in tremendous amounts of time and I don't want spoil that. Rome/China are not going to be push overs but if England/Nubia and Germany/Russia are coming to an agreement about the outcome, I will gladly accept it.

Disappointing but understandable. In all honesty, I am busy with work and have not had much time to write up reports over the past few weeks and don't see it getting any better in the near future. I don't want to force you to continue a game that you don't want to play, so I am fine with calling it. There are always other games.

@Woden, whatever the outcome, once the game has ended, there are some parts I would be really interested in to read in your team thread. I hope there will be some basic coverage of the latest turns.

@Archduke/Emperor K, I guess it's your call. For all we know, there will be this one game that ends without Archduke fighting a single war, wouldn't that be amazing

VA is absolutely a bannable offense to the sanity of the game, I concur being on the wrong end of it in PBEM #6. Still I think we managed a decent job of barely keeping up with a difficult situation with you guys.


In the interest of keeping everyone sane, please let´s call it a draw. It seems this game even broke Sullla. I am more then interested to see why.

This has absolutely been a trainwreck of a game, what with the change of players on your team and the situation with Japper/Mike.

But as far as I can see the english fleet is just melting away. Why is the situation so bad on your end?

I am going to tell you once the decision to stop playing is final.

As I said, if you four prefer to continue, I will and I will play properly. As long as not everyone has weighed in, we should not make this decision final. Maybe CMF can weigh in his opinion (he should be back soon). he is after all the holder of the priced wonder.
