well chatted with plako. they got the HG.
so we'll get a bunch of fail gold anf get some techs quickly at least.

so we need to decide on some other wonder to aim for next, I guess.

Yeah, I was just going to tell you I checked and they got it in WIFOM or whatever it's called - on their border with Gillette. I don't think we should chase another wonder right now - we should try and power through the economic techs to Civil Service and do military and infrastructure builds in our cities. No sense diverting our tech path from what's really important for a chance - probably low - at grabbing something fancy.

Hey, I see Orient Point and African Safari are both about to start on libraries. I was just thinking that since they're both border cities and kind of exposed maybe we should build walls or military units there instead. Other than that, the builds look good. Our worker count is starting to look okay-ish, which is good. I wish we could build some markets to help with our economy, but they're too expensive right now when we need military. I guess we'll have to rely on growing onto cottages!

We get HBR next turn, so any thoughts on what Tech to go for next?



We have a few turns to decide, since we need to spend a few turns building up our treasury.
I'll also try to think about it, but for right now I need to run off to work.

I'll start thinking about it too ... have to check the game to see the research times. It may depend on Gillette's response about the NAP - if they decline, we may want Feudalism; if not, maybe Code of Laws or Metal Casting?

If they decline, we may also want to spend the 1 Turn to grab Archery which we still haven't bothered to get yet.
That's actually the tech I'll probably put the little bits of research into that we get even while at 0% research, accumulating gold.
