btw - I approve of the alpha bulb, in case it wasn't clear.
You play the hand you are dealt, and our hand included making an incredibly dangerous opponent pretty meaningless. I'll take bulbing alpha to get to currency as a price to pay for that.

Some scattered thoughts:
After currency we can either go straight on to Code of Laws or pick up the religion techs to unlock buildings to support the Buddhist religion we picked up. Maint. is very high (almost 9 GPT in Chiton)! So I'm inclined to go straight to CoL. After we've got CoL then I'd backfill the religion techs and start prepping to build a monk economy for the midgame.
To support the above thought, I'd probably grow cities to prepare them for courthouse whips. However, if we tech the religion techs first we can whip with OR active which would be pretty good too.
So economically we want: Currency, Code of Laws, Monotheism, Metalcasting.
Militarily we want: Archery -> HBR (Horse Archers) and Construction (Catapults, WE are banned in this game yes?).
Also, watch out for Nicoale's chariot, want to keep workers away from a stab. That guy is not beyond opportunistic sniping at the expense of relations.
EDIT: Dropbox appears to be down right now btw.

yes, WE should be banned.
The problem with OR is that it's expensive, too, which will probably make it harder to get CoL. So, I think CoL first, get some courthouses up and running.
That's my thoughts.
it's very hard for me to play - I have to run on another machine with remote desktop, so there's a lot of lag. You should take turns through friday night (I'll be back late friday, midnight or so eastern time) and I'll play over the weekend and next week.
Can we tell what the tech situation is?

Well, Confucianism hasn't popped up in the log yet, so no-one is at CoL.
I just realized we teched alphabet though. Does that mean we can now see what everyone else has?

theStick seems behind. No currency, IW or alpha. he's up archery, that's it. I wonder what he's been doing?
TankRa is probably the reaso - he's been a pain to theStick. He's up HBR on us, as well as med and archy, but is down math, currency, IW and alpha, so he's behind, too.
Nicolae: is down alpha and currency, only up poly. so, we are similar.
Sian: is up technically, but is probably a non-factor soon.
Well, we don't yet have currency, so those guys arent' yet down it, are they?

Yeah. Though Sian's behavior makes more sense now. He didn't know he was settling an iron spot!
Keep in mind we spent a GP to pick up Alphabet. I would not be surprised if Nicolae wants to bulb Theology and IND-build the AP.
