I'm pretty happy with Civ IV, I'm not really sure what they could even do in Civ V to improve it much. Probably I lack imagination smile

Take-Two, the publisher that owns Firaxis, is in terrible financial shape. (Although that's not a unique circumstance, as a lot of companies in the gaming industry are bleeding red ink right now.) No one is exactly sure what effect this will end up having on the Civ series.

We're getting a little off-topic though, so maybe this should be its own thread. smile

Hi,

I've watched 300 again last week - not prompted by this game, but the result was the other way round: Motivated by the movie, I've started to play this. And played the whole Saturday through...man, what fun! Thanks Sulla for this Epic, which I intend to finish and report on this time. hammer

Has this event been lost in the shuffle of everybody getting excited about multiplayer? We do not have a single unambiguous "game complete" post yet.

I finally got time to start playing last night, with a rollicking good one-more-turn session to 3 AM. But I'm traveling again this weekend and next week, and I don't think I'll be able to finish by the 20th.

Any opinions on an extension of one week? Is everybody deeply into Always War, or is this one getting ignored in favor of all the MP action?
