Now if there only was some kind of ETA tracker... It's really hard to tell who's chasing which religious tech or wonder, like for a (possible?) poly race between Krill and Exploit. Yeah... I know how I would like to see that information, something like this:
(totally made up information, but you get the idea).
Unfortunately, I see no easy way of getting this information save digging through the lurker threads. And there is so much discussion between team members to dig through.
I have to run.

Here's my contribution to lurkerdom: I made a chart of all the current tech paths. Exploit's are based on Rego's team C&D info, and I'm just guessing they're currently going for Bronze Working. But maybe it's possible he got Mysticism and is competing with Krill for Poly? I really doubt it though.
I appreciate Krill taking the road less traveled in this game, and am curious to see how he does with his approach.

Thanks William, that's great!
With regards to Sumeria, one speculation/fear by Rego/Krill is that they went AH->Mysticism->Polytheism.
EDIT: Oh, I see you already mentioned that.
(Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to dig up this info?)
I have to run.

Indeed, that IS awesome! :hail:
What I originally had in mind was something less spectacular, though. Like this:
Wonders
=Oracle=
---Planning: Aztec, Inca, Egypt
---Building: India (ETA T54), Sumeria (55), England (52)
=Pyramids=
---Planning: India, Portugal
---Building: -
Religions
=Buddhism=
---FOUNDED
=Hinduism=
---Planning: ...
Again, information just made up, but hopefully you get the idea.
Well, I might get to do it myself soon. Yours was definitely more beautiful, William

Thanks guys, it didn't take that long to put that together, maybe an hour or so. I was of course inspired by novice's aggregate state of the empires post.
I'd be really interested, too, in who is planning which wonders, as well as on what turns each civ built workers and cities. But that would be a lot of work, especially for the threads that don't provide obsessive screenshot detail. (Fortunately, many of them do! ) Tracking the research is easy; you just need to see a screenshot every few days with the current tech at the top.
As an aside, do we think Krill really has a chance to Oracle CoL _and_ research Monotheism? That would be quite interesting. Ruff's team seems to have very little interest in another religion which leaves Exploit as the big wild card I guess? Is anyone even talking about getting Masonry?
Edit: Another note, if anyone is interested and not aware, is that that Rego buried a link to his extremely interesting spreadsheet in his thread: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=...hcnc&hl=en

Friendly Kittens (Ragnar of Maya) got really lucky with their start.
+ Gold AND Bronze for their second city
+ tons of FPs
+ all 3 metal happiness resources
+ East of their capital is a city spot with 2 food resources and 10 hills
Too bad they're not in Krill's tech alliance, or are they?

Yeah, pretty lucky, although none of those sites are really first ring locations. If they settle them first they'll be a bit stretched out. Ideally I like a second city with 3-4 tiles overlap with the capital and max 4 tile distance.
I have to run.

Good point. Considering maintenance and barbs, they may soon realize that this is Emperor, after all. OTOH they are financial and their UU is resourceless. Four cities with a couple of FP cottages might put them in a very strong position.

it seems for me that the civ's which started nearest desert are being more left out. Mali meet babylon who also meet byzantine and maya meet nobody!
Perhaps they can make their own alliance with england, france, exploit and whoever gets left out?
Also, early wars it seems with inca after aztec! how will that effect the alliance? interesting start to game for sure. Krill is living up to expectations, i wonder how much everyone will trust him?

The question is: Will Ruff move his second city 1W when he discovers that there's copper 1 SW of the marble? If not, I doubt Hinduism would spread soon enough to hook up that copper by the time the Incas are at his doorstep.
